So I’m on my way into work. I feel good today I work my regular eight hours so I’ll be able to go home and get some much needed sleep. I’m walking through the Clothing department when AJ walks up to me. “Where the hell have you been Davies?  I’ve been looking for you.”

“Home. I’m not clocked in for enoughter five minutes” is my reply as I try to step around him. But being the ass he is he want late me.

“Look Davies I need you to work an extra shift tonight.”

I could use the money, But then again I don’t like him. Should I leave him to try and find someone else. Hmm.Yea that sounds good.

“Sorry, I can’t.” His looking at me like I’m crazy now.

“Come on.  You do this for me and I’ll let you pick the department you want to work in tomorrow. “

Ok now I’m sold. The man is begging me. And my own choose tomorrow I’m loving this. How about you? No but seriously I have nothing better to do.

“Ok I’ll do it.” but I still don’t like you I think to my self

Soon as I say I’ll do it he lets out a sigh and runs one of his hands through his dark hair. “Great, yall be working in the entertainment department all day today.”

I nod my head. “Great, can I go now?” I say getting tired of looking at this man.

“Yeah.” I start to walk off when he says “Oh and the new girl Spencer will be working with you guys so watch over her. Help her out ok?”

I nod my head in get back on my path to the employee’s room.

Its 8:30 in surprisingly I’m not tired. This department hasn’t had that many customers today. I guess know ones in the mood for movies or games today. But I don’t mind less work I got to do.

The new girl AKA Spencer has been stocking new videos and other electronically devices. We haven’t spoke but every now in then we lock eyes. Right now she’s talking to a customer. She looks like she needs help. Yup, I’m right she’s walking over to Taylor for assistance. Taylor is also working in this department putting up new sale signs. She’s ok we haven’t really talked. No. Wait I haven’t really talk to any of my co-workers so there’s not much for me to go on bu… I’m bought out of my thoughts when I hear something hit the floor.

I look up in Spencer is picking up some DVD’s. Taylor’s standing over her it looks like she’s whispering something to Spencer. Spencer gets back up and response and the next thing I no their headed my way. As they get closer Spencer looks like she’s on the verge of tears and Taylor looks pissed.

Taylor comes around the counter and stands next to me. She looks at me then Spencer. “Ashley, this is Spencer. Spencer this is Ashley.” I nod my head at her she smiles at me. “Spencer if you should have anymore dumb questions asks Ashley.”

I can’t believe she just said that.

“My question wasn’t dumb. “She says as she sends Taylor a death glare.

“Yes it was and I really don’t feel like answering anymore of your stupid questions. So please don’t bother me again.”

Ok she’s pissing me off. It’s the girls first day giver her break. And before I know it the words leave my mouth.

“Taylor stop being rude. It’s her first day she’s allowed to ask questions.”

She just stars at me for a moment before walking off. “Whatever she’s your problem now. I’m going to the restroom.”

And before I can say anything she’s gone leaving me alone with Spencer.
