    We had it all planned out.

    To make the night special we were both going to pay extra attention to our appearances, wear lingerie, light candles, the whole nine…

    Once my lips touched her’s I became lost in her kiss, however.

    I was so aware of her touches, of her. Of the way her body guided mine down onto the bed as she covered me with her. How, instinctually, my hand went to the round of her shoulder to bring her closer to me. How she cupped my face softly while her other hand gripped my waist in expectation.

    I tangled my free hand into her curls, moaning intensely at the feel of her soft lips on mine. She always breathed new life into me with each of our kisses, and this one was no exception. Her breath was cool and her tongue sliding against mine was quenching.

    I moaned deeper, loving the slowness of each kiss. This was going to be one of those nights that we’d talk about forever, that I knew, it was evident in each touch and caress she showed me. How careful she was being; like I was breakable.

    But I could also tell by each languid kiss that she was holding back; that she was just getting started.

    The passion behind our kisses ignited something primal within me, something I wasn’t expecting. I knew that I was about to enter this daunting territory with her that I’ve never experienced before and I was startled in my discovery that I was beyond ready for it to happen. I wasn’t just ready, no, I was ready…

    I moaned headily into her mouth at the thought of Ashley naked and thrusting inside of me. I couldn’t wait to watch her facial expressions as she hovered over me, eyes tightly shut, muscles straining, my fingertips on her bare skin…I moaned again at the thought and my whimpers continued as her tongue swirled around mine.

    My eyes remained closed as she pulled away from our kiss, but her mouth stayed close to mine and a breathy groan was released from my depths when I felt her tongue trace my lips slowly.

    Eventually she pulled away completely and removed herself from me. She stood next to our bed and I watched her struggle to leave my side; but after a few moments, though, she did, mouthing ‘I love you’ as she walked backwards towards her closet.
