RECAP

The girls just faced Paula. Spencer confessed her love for Ashley. Ashley has yet to reply.

   "I…I…" Ashley stuttered
   "SPENCER! Get inside now!" Paula screamed from the door. Saved by the bitch. –Ashley thought.
   "One sec. mom."
   "NOW Spencer!"
Spencer gave Ashley one last glance and ran off to the door. Ashley sat there with a shocked look on her face. She couldnt believe Spencer just confessed to Ashley tht she loved her. But most of all Ashley couldnt believe she didnt say it back. She did love Spencer. Why couldnt she say it?
 
 I love you, too. How hard is that to say? Ugh, I’m so stupid! I know I love her. She loves me. What am I afraid of? Who am I kidding, I’m afraid of pain. I’m afraid of vulnerability. She is the only one who has ever made me feel this way and I’m scared shitless.  She’s standing against her own mother for me and I cant even take a chance of her breaking me.!!

Ashley drove home and was lost in her thoughts. She trudged up to her bedroom and just stared at the ceiling. She came up with plans for her and Spencer. Tomorrow, she was going to tell Spencer she loved her. She was going to make it up to Spencer. She was going to give Spencer her heart.

 ’Hey, beautiful. Im in ur driveway.’
 

Spencer recieved the text and smiled. She couldnt wait to see Ashley again. She practically jumped the stair case she was running so fast. She ran out the door and all the way to Ashley’s car. She sat down and looked towards Ashley who was holding a single red rose.
 
   "Ashley, its beautiful."
   "A beautiful flower for a beautiful girl." Ashley handed it to Spencer and they leaned in and sweetly kissed. "We better get going to school."
   "Ashley Davies, is telling me that we need to go to school? Okay, who are you and what have you done with my Ashley?" Spencer joked.
   "The faster the school day goes the faster you get a surprise."
   "What kinda of surprise?"
   "If I told you it would totally ruin it." Ashley grabbed Spencer’s hand in hers and kissed the back of it. They pulled out and headed towards King High.
