This feels like a dream. I am floating away on a cloud and every single touch is pushing me higher. Even after all this time my body does not forget her. Every gentle caress elicits a familiar reaction. Each kiss is intricately placed to obtain a particular response. I feel myself slipping quickly into oblivion.
I need to see her; I pull her head up to look at me. The passion I see in her eyes chokes the breath from my throat. She rises to her knees and hovers above me. I watch her eyes scan my body slowly formulating a plan of attack. My breathing becomes more labored the longer she lingers above me. These couple of seconds feel like an eternity and I can no longer remain idle. I draw myself into a sitting position below her and lift her shirt slightly to reveal her stomach. I stop my advances as I realize this will be the first time she has allowed me to touch her or even look at her and I redirect my eyes to hers for approval. She answers my silent uncertainty by removing the garment completely. I ravage her body, unable to control the animal-like desire coursing through my veins. She leans her head down, attempting to suppress a moan in my hair, but she can not prevent its escape. This only fuels the fire, as the sounds tickle my ears and I continue with a growing intensity. She momentarily halts the onslaught only to remove my shirt. We stare deeply into each other’s eyes. We both know this is no longer about want or desire, this is about need. This is about needing to give ourselves completely to the other.
And we do. I give her all of me and I receive the same in return. There is no fight for control and no power to be gained. We come together as one. We make love all night and only in the surrender to sheer exhaustion do we lay peacefully in each others arms. I find myself in a familiar position as I lay on her chest, soothed by the sound of her heart beating and the calm of her breathing. I think of all the memories that brought me here. The memories I tried to fight. The memories I almost erased. I think of the last time I was in her arms like this and I cry once more. I cry, because this time; it’s not goodbye.
I would like to thank all of you wonderful readers, who took the time to read and comment on this story throughout its duration. You gave a rookie writer quite the ego boost and encouraged me to keep writing and keep posting. I leave you with the happy Spashley ending you all begged for. I leave their future in the capable hands of your own imaginations.

AHHH!!! i was actually screaming…wait i still am…omg! it was the definition of PERFECTION! yay for spashley! omg im so freakin happy right now…that was the best..ash got the BILNG! lol…and then she got something else….lol…but seriously that was totally AMAZING writing….i really loved it…oh and thanks for the shout out! ;-)

AMAZING. I was so excited when I got to the bottom of the first page and realized there was another page. But then as I finished the second page…I was sad that the end had come. You have a wonderful imagination and an amazing ability to tell an excellent story. With the exception of the ring in the last chapter, you surprised me all the way along. Just when I thought I knew where you were going, you would throw another twist and leave us hanging…your writing is perfection. I agree with the cheers for an ENCORE. I think there are still some more “memories” in that mind of yours that could be told. Well I hope you continue to write as I would love to read it. I agree with the others, as much as I enjoy reading several of the other stories, it was your story that made me keep checking several times a day to see when you would next write. Keep writing…you are that good!
As much as i hated waiting anxiously for your posts, i’m even sadder that your Spashley story has come to an end. I usually don’t leave comments but your fic totally deserved the encouragement and praise and I am honored to have been a factor in your amazing writing.
I loved your story, it was sooooo soooo good. But I’m still uneasy, I well, don’t trust you that much (you tend to be quite evil), so I need a wedding sequence, where They say their I do’s and then FOREVER and EVEr… I don’t know I fear that suddenly someone will come into that room and kill them…
I cannot even begin to describe my admiration and appreciation for this story into coherent words. Your writing is absolutely beautiful. The vivid imagery used to paint passion and the eloquent and complex descriptions of romance leaves me speechless. All the despair and tangled emotions made everything so believable. This story, and more so this chapter, in which you flawlessly concluded the odyssey of Spencer and Ashley, has really left me in awe. Although fiction, your work has given me much hope. Thank you so much for letting us see the amazing art you have created. I do sincerely hope you continue to write.

Absolutely amazing , was a nail biter for a while there not gonna lie, i was listening to a song by Yellowcard called “only one” and it fits this story perfectly “Here I go so dishonestlyLeave a note for you my only oneAnd I know you can see right through meSo let me go and you will find someone”Sounds exactly like what spence did lol well keep up the good work i love your other stories as well !!!

Sigh. I just read this entire fic in one very long sitting. I cannot believe that you call yourself a rookie writer. You’ve weaved such a well-crafted story – filled with so much depth and thought and sentences that were both poignant, painful and exquisite. You’ve written the characters with such detail and truth – I was completely engrossed for the lengthy period that I was staring at my computer monitor. Thanks for this, and (do us all a favor) keep writing.

I read this whole story last night…stayed up until 3am. Yeah, I’m crazy…and a slow reader…lol. But wow…this was a beyond GREAT story. Loved the flashbacks and the fact that it was 10 (?) years later. I’m not a reader at all…absolutely hate it…but I couldn’t stop when I discovered your fan fiction. Truly amazing…and the ending with the proposing…beautiful…absolutely beautiful. GREAT JOB!
