Spencer wakes at 4:30 in the morning to the sound of one baby crying. Unfortunatly, like a chain reaction, it quickly turns to two. Ashley had been up for almost 48 hours straight now and was tired. She shifted slightly in her sleep. "phone." she said sleepily not realizing it was the babies.

For the last, what have semmed endless, 4 months it had been going like any familly raising twins would be like. Restless, That one word simply described it all. Spencer grogily rose from bed and walked into the babies room right across the hall.

The room was decorated beautifully with little balloons and letter blocks painted on the walls in a childish arrangment of colors. Each crib on seperate side of the room and a changing table in the back of the room. Spencer turned on the light and walked over to one crib picking up the baby and slowly begining to rock it in her arms. Once her eyes adjusted to the light she saw that it was the ever-so beautiful Avery. She began to sing to him as she continued rocking him slowly.

Once he is asleep in her arms, she slowly lowers him into his crib and lays him down gently, being carefull not to wake him. She slowly begins to walk towards the door to leave and baby amanda begins to cry softly at first, but is gradually getting louder.

Spencer walks over to the crib and picks her up and does the same movements she did with avery. "Hush little baby dont you cry…" she continued singing until she was fast asleep. She set her down and left the room turning off the lights only leaving the nightlight to shine in the darkness.

As spencer crawls back into bed ashley squirms a bit. "Who was it that called?" she asked still obviously confused and deliriouse. Spencer brushed back some stray hair from ashley’s face and kissed her forehead lightly.

She lightly giggled. "Just go back to sleep." She said softly before turning over in bed and laying her head down and preparing to drift to sleep. She felt an arm wrap around her body and a butterfly kiss on her neck that was followed by a warmth on her back as ashley cuddled up to her.
