Spencer stopped with her back still turned to ashley. She slowly turned around and stared right into the pool of despondency. She approached ashley and placed her hand on the side of her face lightly. She boughts ashleys lips to her own in a passion filled kiss. She pulled away slowly with a monotonous expression on her face. She grabbed her bookbag and placed it on her shoulder. "Look, ill spend tonight finding someone to babysit and then we will go out tomorrow night and have a romantic night out with a fancy dinner on the beach okay?"

Ashley nodded with a fake smile on her face. It didnt make everything better, it only made things worse. Just because you clean out a cut with peroxide doesnt mean its healed. But it still hurts like hell. Spencer ran out the door and jumped in the car after saying her good-byes to ashley and the babies.

She drove off to school and emotionally crashed in the parking space. She rested her head on the steering wheel.

This isnt working. With ashley. I miss the way things used to be. There is no way im walking out though. I would hate myself for leaving ashley and the kids, and oh god! I sound like i’ve been married to ashley for years, i sound like my parents…

Spencer was brought out of her thinking state when she heard a knock on the window next to her. She looked up and saw it was madison. She grabbed her bag from the back seat before slowly opening the door being careful not to hit the girl who stood there.

Spencer studied madisons face carefully. She seemed worried, or upset, or…something. It was hard to tell with madison, people were just now adjusting to her being nice and they didnt have time to study her facial expressions yet. "I just wanted to say im sorry." Madison began walking along side of spencer. "For last night i mean. I had no idea."

"It’s fine madison" Spencer said a little agrivated.

"It doesnt sound fine." Madison spoke as spencer stopped at her locker carefully entering the combination.

She opened her locker and began throwing things inside still a bit on edge. "No, its not what happened last night, well, it is, but not the reason you think, its-" Spencer realized she sounded jumbled. "Okay, what im trying to say is that, its nothing you did."
