    Chapter Eight

     

    ASHLEY’S POV:

    Ever since Aiden has been back it’s been just like old times. I’m still trying to trust him more everyday, but that’s going to take a lot of time. Kyla wasn’t too happy when she found out about Aiden being back and the fact that I was talking to him again. She is still pretty pissed at him for treating me like he did when he was on drugs. She’s also mad because her and Aiden used to be friends. She tried to warn me a few times to stay away from him, but I told her that I thought he deserved a second chance.

    Things with Spencer and I haven’t changed. We haven’t even talked about the almost kiss we had at my birthday party. I’m trying to avoid the topic until I can figure things out. We still hang out and talk everyday, but just as friends. Today I am going with her downtown to this flower market. She always likes having fresh flowers in her apartment.

    Ashley and Spencer are at the flower market looking at the various flowers.

    Ashley: So what kind of flowers are you looking for today?

    Spencer: I don’t know. I usually just come here and see what catches my eye.

    Ashley finds a flower and picks it up.

    Ashley: I like this one.

    Spencer: Ah, the birds of paradise flower.

    Ashley keeping looking around when another flower catches her eye. She puts the birds of paradise flower down and goes to look at the other flower.

    Ashley: Hey Spence, what about this one?

    Ashley walks away and goes over to the other flower. She reaches for the flower and sees someone else grabbing the flower right next to it. She looks up at the person.

    Ashley: Oh my God.

    ???: Ashley?

    Ashley: Hi Brooke.

    Brooke: Hey, umm what are you doing here?

    This has to be a dream. Please tell me this is a dream. Okay just stay calm. Just make small talk for a minute or two and go find Spencer. Speaking of Spencer, where in the hell is she? God if I could run out of here right now I would.

    1. I felt so bad for Ashley in the update with her running into Brooke and her still being with Chad and when Ashley got drunk. I hope Spencer can convince Ashley that she is good enough, but her ex-girlfriends were the ones who sucked. I’m glad Ashley opened up to Spencer, but she needs to learn to trust again. PMASAP.
