“NO, NO, NO!!! ASHLEY!!!” I keep screaming as I put my hand over her bandages. My glove covered hand immediately gets soaked in blood.
“CARLIN, GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF SO THAT YOU CAN HELP HER!!!” Dr. Nichols screams as he makes his way to where I was standing.
That seems to snap me out of my hysteria and I begin to bark out orders to everybody in the room, “Hang a unit of whole blood, bring me an intubation tray, get the x-ray machine in here for an abdominal series and chest! Move it, people, now!”
To my surprise, I feel hands moving me away from the gurney as I’m getting ready to intubate her, I turn and see it’s Dr. Nichols. I glare at him and growl, “What do you think you’re doing?”
He ignores me and says loudly, “Do everything she just said,” and then he says to me, “Carlin, leave this room. You can’t treat her.”
I jerk away from him and hiss, “I’m not leaving this room. I’m going to take care of her.”
“No you’re not. You’re obviously emotionally involved in this because you know her. Get out of here so that we can help her.” Dr. Nichols says calmly as he begins to pull me away again by the arm.
“NO!!!” I yell as I grab on to the bed with one hand.
Dr. Nichols grabs me by the shoulders and screams as he shakes me, “YOU’RE NOT HELPING HER LIKE THIS!!! GO OUTSIDE SO THAT I CAN HELP HER, CARLIN!! WE’RE WASTING TIME!!”
He doesn’t wait for my response instead he shoves me out of the trauma room and as the door closes he barks out, “If you try to get in here I’ll call security.”
With that I just back away, when my back hits the hallway wall I collapse on the floor an begin to sob uncontrollably. A couple of nurses stop and ask me what’s wrong but I can’t even answer them. All I do is push them away and point to the trauma where she’s at. She can’t die. She just can’t. She has to be alright. I can’t lose her. I won’t survive if I lose her.
When I hear the door of the trauma next door crash open and I see the bastard is being quickly wheeled down the hall. I jump on my feet and begin running after him, praying that he has one foot in the grave and if he doesn’t I might just help him get there. Unfortunately, Madison walks out of the trauma room in time to see me run by and she grabs me from behind.

GAH! I’m so happy I could cry! Sorry I didn’t comment on the last one, I just caught up on these last 2 updates and I gotta say…I hope Aiden’s dead. I know it’s a horrible thing to say but, that bastard deserves it for all the hell he’s put Ashley through. Not to mention Spencer and Kyla, they’ve been out of they’re minds, but especially Spencer. SO kill Aiden soon please, slow and painfully like Spashfan-9 said. Then maybe we can offically have Spashley and they can be happy and carefree for a little while, PLEASE!!! Ok, I’m done rambling, PMASAP!!!!!!!!!

great update. i loved all of spencer’s confessions at ashley’s bedside. i wonder is ash will remember any of it. this was a great update…like amazing. thanks.
