I didn’t know what to expect after my shower. I wasn’t sure if Ash would be annoyed at my comment or upset. It was so confusing. The worst part was that I wasn’t sure if she actually wanted me to move in or not.
“I’m sorry,” Ash spoke as I walked into her bedroom to say my goodbye. “It’s just I could totally do with you moving in,” She started but paused as a wide smile appeared on my face. “But Spence it’s not my house. I can’t just let you move in,” and then I realised the difficulty and the smile went from my face, “Oh shit Ash, I completely forgot about your Mum… She’d go mental if I moved in… wouldn’t she?” I exclaimed as my hand it my head.
“Pretty much,” She replied plainly. “But then again she’s already mental so…” We laughed heartily but it didn’t last long when we heard my Mum’s car come in the drive. “Just tell me one thing,” I looked at her and nodded telling her to continue. “Do you want to live with me?” She looked away from me as if I said no she’d be shielded of me not seeing her face.
“Well Ash,” I picked up my coat and opened her door. “If I don’t spend more time with you, then I guess I’m not the only one who’s going to go mental…” and with that I walked out of the room, down the stairs and just as I reached the front door I paused. My plan worked, Ashley came after me in a rush.
“I love you,” She whispered as she came in front of me, she nuzzled my neck and I held her close, dropping my coat in the process.
“I love you too baby,” I responded. She lifted herself off of me and looked into my eyes. I hooked my arms around her and she held onto my waist. The moment then was followed by a deep kiss. Tongues battling out a slow dance that lingered somewhere deep in the memory and was never hoping to be disturbed.
