I got ready to go out on a run with Brooke, but first I had to call Spencer back…

“there she is…” Spencer said answering her phone

“hey pretty girl…” I replied “…what’s up?” I asked

“I’m just walking to my morning class…what are you up to?” she asked

“that’s exactly it…” I told her “…I’m just getting up”

“and I bet I woke you up…” she said

“nope…Brooke did…but you woke her up…” I told her

“my bad…” she replied “…so, what are you doing?” she asked

“um…changing right now to go out on a run…” I said

“and you’re alone?” she asked

“yes…” I replied smirking into the phone

“well…do you maybe want to…” she started “…you know…”

“um I would love to…except I’m going out on a run…” I said

“oh…ok well I have class so…”

“definite rain check on that though baby…” I told her

“yeah…” she replied

“ok…I have to go meet Brooke but I love you” I said

“love you too…” she replied then I hung up the phone and I went downstairs to meet Brooke, both of us in sports bra’s with track shorts on and running shoes.

“hey ready?” I asked her

“yeah…” she said walking away from some guy she was talking to

“so…you and Johnny?” I asked her grinning

“um no…try again…” she replied

“I don’t get it Brooke…you’re like defiantly top hottest girls in our school, and you have yet to hook up with a guy…”

“well maybe it’s not just about hooking up…” she told me as we started running

“yeah but I mean you’re not even looking for a relationship…” I told her

“maybe I just don’t want one…” she said

“ok then…” I replied and we ran a little while until she started to talk again

“when you met Spencer…like how’d you guys start off? What’s your history?” she asked me

“um…that’s a long story…” I told her

“so then tell it…” she said “…we’re gonna be running for a while”

“you want to hear the whole thing?” I asked her

“yep” she said

“ok then…” I replied “…we met junior year high school like a week after school started, and the only reason I met her was because she switched into my AP English class and was a total bitch…” I said
