"So tell me about you you know with the whole girls thing"

She opened up to me telling me how she was with a girl in high school for two years her best friend.  She was in love and thought the other girl was too but after school they never talked again, even though thats not how she planned things.  Told me about her other boyfriends and how her last one she was with for three years then she met Aiden.  Her and Aiden started dating while she was still with the other guy, after a few months she finally broke it off with the other guy.  Then she told me about her and Carmen.  Whoa didn’t see that one coming.  They were never together just would here and there make out randomly mostly when they were drunk.  Aiden knows about her liking girls too and about Carmen, now I understand why he doesn’t like Carmen let alone when they hang out.  I guess she saw me look down when she was talking about her and Carmen.  She made it clear that they are just friends and nothing going on between them.  That all those times has been just drunk moments, that Carmen did like her back at their other school but they just became good friends.  

"So when was the last time you guys did anything?" I can’t believe I just asked it why did I care?

"Umm well we really haven’t done anything since back at Cal. I went over to her apartment last week to watch a movie and we were sitting on the couch and she grabbed my hand."

"Oh" I said kind of disappointed

"Thats all we did though Spence just held hands through the movie"

"I believe you" I really don’t want to hear anymore better change the subject.

"So glad we watched the movie" I said trying to laugh alittle

"Yeah sorry didn’t mean to make you miss it"

"No its ok I will just watch it another time"

"Well if you want we can put on another and actually watch it" she said with that amazing smile.  I couldn’t say no so we picked out Final Destination 3 for some reason I love that movie.  Figure I would pick something I already saw just in case we start talking again.  Of course we didn’t talk during this probably because I saw it.  When the movie was over it was after two and I look over at Ashley sleeping on the couch.  I didn’t want to wake her because she looked so cute sleeping there.  So I just folded her hoodie, put it on the recliner, then left silently taking one last look at her sleeping peacefully before I shut the door.
