Chapter Forty-Three
Spencer and Ashley made their way to work and held hands still holding on to thoughts about their current situation with their exes. Ashley still had a strong suspicion that Spencer’s feelings for this Jessica girl were not as over with as the blonde let on. She shook the thoughts from her head knowing full well that nothing would be resolved if she kept harping on it. Spencer’s mind was playing evil tricks with her causing her to really examine her feelings for her ex. ‘It’s not love…It can’t be.’
After kissing each other goodbye, Spencer made her way to her building. She made her way up the stairs and walked down the hallway to her office. She peered inside the area outside her door for any sign that the red-head was there. She looked down the hallway to find Jessica’s door open with the lights on inside.
‘Shit…ok…be very quiet….’ She thought as she turned the key in her lock and slowly opened her door. She entered her office never turning on the light and closed the door softly behind her. She strained her eyes across the room to find her desk and tip toed her way over. She cursed slightly as her foot made contact with the leg of the desk. She sat down heavily in her chair and stared at her door hoping that she was quiet enough not to raise any red flags. After about 15 minutes, Spencer let out a deep breath and turned on the small lamp she had sitting on her desk.
She heard the bustle of her other coworkers making their way inside and knew it was safe enough to open her door now. She left the door open a small crack and went back to her desk to review some more of her students’ papers. After reading about five more over-the-top essays she saw a movement at her door. She looked up and found Jessica standing at the door just watching her.
“Hey there Spence.” Jessica said with a smile.
“How long have you been standing there?” Spencer asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Oh only a couple of seconds. I didn’t hear you come in but I was on my way out and saw your light on.”

friggin jessica can just go get hit by a bus…and linda can die in a plane crash. that’d be FABULOUS! these chicks are really pissin me off lol. yet another wonderful update my dear!! absolutely love it!
*raises hand* okay okay..so I’ve been a lurker..I admitt it…yes yes I’m ashamed…now to more important things………Spencer. I’m a tad bit confused….see, i’m weighing her options…on one hand, high above my head, there is Ashley and everything life is about..A.K.A Loooooove. and on one hand, that is as far down as my arm can go..is Jessica…icky icky Jessica!!!..who has in toll NOTHING..besides for maybe deception and heartache for Spencer….So I strongly advise Spencer to get her shit together…because I do believe she just set her wedding date!!! IN TWO WEEKS!!!! better get your head straight girl….you got to work for your happy ending!! and NO, jessica is NOT a happy ending!!!

Well I’m sad to hear that the story will be finishing up soon, but at the same time I can’t help but be glad for you writing it in the first place. So I guess what I’m saying is that I’m frowning and smiling at the same time…which kinda makes me look retarded haha. Anyways, yay! They’re getting married
