    Water fights and Ashley talks, Spencer listens.

    PREVIOUSLY:

    SPENCER’S P.O.V.

    I can feel everyone’s eyes on me. I look up to see Ashley staring at me angrily, chewing her food. I stare back at her while eating my food. We continue our intense staring contest. I know everyone’s wondering what’s going on, they’re all looking at us, but Ashley and I ignore the probing eyes and continue staring.

    Arthur: “Ok, who’s up for dessert?” he says cheerfully. I can tell he’s trying to make the situation less awkward.

    Ashley: “I’m full.” she says angrily, still staring back at me, then getting up from the table. She walks to her room. Everyone turns their attention to me.

    Spencer: “So…what’s for dessert?” I ask in a peppy tone, smiling.

    SPENCER’S P.O.V.

    So, we finished dinner. No one asked about that little situation at the table. I’m clearing off the table and my dad yawns.

    Arthur: “Spencer, can you clean up the kitchen?” he says sounding tired.

    Spencer: “Yea, sure dad.” Ashley jogs down the steps, on her way out the door.

    Christine: “And Ashley can help!” she says, loud enough for Ashley to hear.

    Ashley: “Mom.” she whines.

    Christine: “Ashley!” she says sternly. I huff and go into the kitchen. Did they not just see that little thing at the table?! I can still hear Ashley try to reason with Aunt Chris.

    Ashley: “Mom, I have somewhere to go.”

    Christine: “Well you can go, after you help Spencer clean the kitchen.” I can hear Ashley sigh, then walk into the kitchen. I haven’t started yet, I’m just looking out the window over the sink.

    Spencer: “Don’t worry, I don’t want to do this with you either.” I say sarcastically as I continue looking out the window.

    Ashley: “Whatever. Look, the sooner we get this done, the sooner I can get out of here and away from you! So lets just get this over with.”

    Spencer: “Fine.”

    Ashley: “Fine!”

    Spencer: “FINE! I’ll rinse, you wash.”

    Ashley: “Uh, no. I’m rinsing, you can wash.”

    Spencer: “Whatever.” we go to the sink. I’m washing each dish and putting it in her side of the sink, never handing it to her.

    Ashley: “Spencer would you stop doing that?!!” I wash faster.

    Ashley: “Spencer slow down!!!”

    Spencer: “Ashley speed up!!!” I say imitating her.

Jesus…I am glad that Ashley told Spencer how she feels…I feel so bad for Ashley..Loving someone as much as she does, and not really having those feeling sreturned because they are afraid…I am mad at Spencer…And that is wrong that she always hooses Ashley second, when all Ashley does is chose her first over everything..I am glad that Ashley is movng on, maybe this is the wake-up call that Spencer needs…pms

    3. kudos to Ashley for sicking it to her like that, Spencer was not being nice to her feeling at all. though I do LOVE Spashley, I think its good that you waiting like this to put them together. its a great story.
