Super duper crime fighting good two shoes and her badass master criminal. – (Chapter: Chapter 7)

I had to wake up at 6 am because Paula believes in really early breakfast. Ugh. I’m now waiting in the living room for my transportation to arrive. After barely sleeping any, I must look like crap today.

I can hear the driver honking his horn. Here we go.

The car ride over was pretty calm. We arrived at the diner, and I was told to wait inside for her. I waited at a booth; I tried to pass the time by reading the menu when Paula casually teleported into the seat in front of me. These people really need to find better means of transportation.

    “Good morning Miss. Davies.”

    “Good morning Ma’am.”

“That makes me feel so old. Please, call me Paula. But not in front of the others.”

    “Okay Maaaa….Paula.”

    “That’s better.”

I gave her an awkward smile in return.

    “Now, tell me what happened.”

I proceeded to give her a detailed description of that day; you know minus the ice rink and kiss.

    “Is that all that happened?”

    “Yes.”

“She didn’t try to do anything to you?”

“Nope, plus once the others barged in she made a run for it.

“Hmm, interesting,” She took a sip of her drink.

“It’s not that big of a deal. I guess I didn’t seem like a threat to her or something.”

“Oh well, let’s get our breakfast.”

We spent an hour eating pancakes and talking about the most random things. It’s strange to have her being so nice to me. She always seemed so threatening before.

    Appearances are deceiving.
Eventually, I had to make my way to school. I was making my way up to the school’s entrance when Chelsea grabbed me.

“Spencer Carlin has hit again. She is holding some people hostage at a bank. Come on, we need to go.”

She’s holding what at a where?

    “Okay, I’m right behind you.”

Why is she doing this? Or was all that just a lie? Was it all just a way to get into my pants?

I jump into the passenger side seat and Madison speeds off to the bank.

“How was breakfast?” Kyla leaned forward.

    “It was okay.”

“What did she want?” Madison made a sharp left turn.

“Just a description of what happened.”

“Oh, well now you have another chance to take this bitch down.”
