Take my Hand

Life’s never easy. Has anyone ever told you that before? What I hate is that I’m in love with someone that I’m not supposed to be in love with. When I was in the hospital, Spencer was the only one there for me other than my family, and lately my parents actually just my mom has been telling me that maybe I spend too much time around Spencer. So she thinks something is going on, but with my mom she refuses to believe it. As if I didn’t have enough pressure on my already, my mom doesn’t want me to be around my best friend and my girlfriend can’t stand the fact I haven’t told my parents or anyone about her yet. Every night it’s becoming the same argument and it’s killing me because I love her…but I’m not supposed to love her. She’s just…I just…I just can’t get her out of my head.

“what’s going on?” she asked me in a quiet voice coming up to my locker

“nothing” I told her

“bull shit” she replied “what’s going on with you?”

“a lot okay?” I said starting to walk away

“stop it” she said grabbing my arm

“no you stop it…we’re in school” I snapped at her in a whisper then I walked away to my next class and my friend Megan was in there and sat next to me

“how are you?” she asked me

“uh…alright I guess” I told her putting my arms up on the table and she looked at them and I pulled them away quickly “sorry”

“no…no don’t be…” she said “…it’s nothing you can change”

“yeah thanks for reminding me” I told her

“no I mean…we all have our break downs, you just have show for it”

“once again…thanks for reminding me” I added then our teacher started class

The day couldn’t have gone by slower. It came to the point where I was waking up then wanted to go right back to sleep. After school Spencer was by her locker and I knew she was looking at me while she was talking to her friend, then when I got all my stuff and started walking to the parking lot Spencer followed me, and I’m glad she did but then again I’m not supposed to be
