    Everyone wants to hear details of date night

    Ashley didn’t leave until after midnight some time. There was no way I could go to bed considering the state she left me in so I had to take a cold shower. I lay in bed till 2 in the morning thinking of the touch of her hands on my skin. Her finger tips were lightly calloused, probably from playing the guitar. The mixed sensation they gave of soft and slightly rough made me go crazy. I wanted her hands on me everywhere.

    I don’t know how I managed to get up at 7 this morning. I promised Kaylen I would meet her at 9 so we could study a bit and of course talk about her date last night. I put on a pair of sweat pants that I had cut off just below the knee and a ¾ sleeve baseball tee. I found my favorite Northwestern University cap and pulled it on low to hide the dark circles under my eyes. Kaylen always gave me shit about wearing another university’s logo. I didn’t care. I wore it only to support my undying infatuation for their softball coaches. They were smokin’ hot.

    I found Kaylen in our favorite study room at the library. We had it all to ourselves and could talk with out getting death glares from the noise police.

    “Holy crap Spencer!” she exclaimed as I walked into the room. “Have a long night?!”

    “Maybe, but you have to dish first.” I told her.

    “Dude, you are a traitor with that damn hat and aren’t those the sweats that you caught on fire with a flaming marshmallow last year?” She asked randomly.

    “A. I don’t care and B. Yes, they are. The bottom of one leg was burnt all up and so I just cut it off and made the other side match. I couldn’t throw them away they are my favorites.” I replied. “Now quit changing the subject and tell me how your date went.”

    Kaylen’s cheeks turned pink.

    “It was really nice. Like really, really nice.” She said shyly. I was still dumbfounded at how just talking about Aiden changed this girl so dramatically. “He cooked a totally amazing dinner for me at his place. Then we went and walked through the university arboretum. It was the coolest first date ever.”
