Ashley: "Wait. Can I be completely honest with you?" I say turning my head. I feel aweful doing it but I feel we should talk about this before we do anything. I know that’s so not me but I really really like this beautiful girl standing in front of me. Infact just between you me and the wall I think I might love her. I don’t know yet but I think I might. So I don’t wanna move too fast and ruin everything.

Spencer: "I knew it. I’m s-sorry for a-assuming. I thought that since I’m no longer with T-travis that we could try something. Cuz in the h-hospital you said that if he and I weren’t t-together, you and I could, h-how could I be so s-stupid. Y-you’re way outa my l-league. Stupid." She said hitting her forehead with her palm of her hand. 

Ashley: "Spence." I say grabbing her hand and moving it away from her forehead. "First off Spencer you are the nicest, smartest, most beautiful girl I know. So please don’t ever think I’m or anyone else is out of your league. Sweetheart you’re in a league of your own." Huh I loved that movie when I was younger. The one with Gena Davis and Tom Hanks ‘there’s no crying in baseball.’ Classic. Oh dammit. I spaced. Now she’s staring at me. "Sorry I just started thinking of that one movie. I believe I have ADD sometimes."

Spencer: "That’s ok. I l-love that movie too. So what do you want to be c-completely honest to m-me about?" She asks half smiling. I kiss her hand that I was holding with my non casted hand.

Ashley: "Spence, I like you I mean I really like you. Which scares the ever living shit outa me. I don’t wanna scare you off. I also don’t wanna hurt you. I don’t wanna move too fast and ruin everything." I say stepping closer to her and moving a strand of hair out of her face.

Spencer: "I-i’m s-scared too b-but I don’t think y-you could ever hurt me. You s-saved me Ash. You s-saved m-me from the d-devil." She said putting her forehead on mine. "Can I be c-completely honest with y-you?" She said looking deep into my eyes.
