The Guild – (Chapter: Drunken Rage?)

"Ugh, how rude!" Spencer said a little too loud. The bandits looked over to where they were standing.

    "God damn it, Spencer!"

"Sorry. Wait are they coming after us?"

"No, they want to have tea and crumpets. Of course they’re coming after us you dumb ass!"

They started running towards a cave down on the beach but it was sealed off. They ran towards a house but the doors were all locked. They started to panic and searched for a way out of town or just a place to hide. "Get you arses out ‘ere!" one yelled.

"We’re not gonna hurt you poppets." another said.

"Aw, fuck this. Just kick their assess like you did yesterday." Ashley turned back to Spencer.

"What do yo want me to use?"

"Anything." Ashley spotted a weapons dealer and ran to it grabbing anything that wasn’t heavy.

"Ooh, it’s shiny. I like shiny." Ashley said to herself. "Ready?"

"Yeah, let’s do it!" they charged towards the bandits screaming multiple profanities causing many locals to look at them with an odd look of confusion. They ran down the road to where the bandits were but the second they got their they all disappeared into a beam of light. "What the hell just happened?" Spencer asked Ashley. The looked at each other for a second in a state of confusion.

"Whatever happened, it’s still creepy not knowing where they went. I think we should keep an eye out for each other for a few days, just to make sure that they aren’t watching us." Ashley said breaking the awkward silence.

"Do you think that we should leave town? I mean, they could be watching us."

    "Didn’t I just say that?"

"Oh, I wasn’t paying any attention." She smiled causing Ashley’s heart to beat faster. God damn Ashley, She’s not a lesbian you dumb ass! Besides, you’ve only known her for 2 days, a little too early for a crush, don’t you think?

    "Ashley? Hi."

"Huh? Oh sorry just thinking to myself."

    "Where to next?"

"I think we have a score to settle with Twinblade." They set off to the world renowned bandit camp, knowing very well that they could be being watched the whole time by anybody. The day turned into night once again. They set up camp in a small trading center just outside of Greatwood. "Do you know where we are, Ashley?"

"Yeah, just outside of my hometown." Oh joy!.

"Are we going to see if your parents still live there?"

"I don’t know. I’m pretty pissed off at them."

"I would be too but, it wouldn’t hurt to go see them and to let them know that you are okay."

"I guess so, but I don’t get why they would just forget about me. I wrote to them every month and I never got a single letter from them." Tears started falling from her face. The memory of seeing her parents for the last time, which ended with a big argument over the distance from their home to the guild and Ashley having a girlfriend. "You are not allowed to come home again, EVER!"
    "But why, daddy?"

"Because I will not have some lesbian living in my home. It will bring shame to our entire family!"

"Ash, it’s okay." Spencer wiped her tears away.

"No, it’s not okay. My parents hate me!"

    "You don’t know that."

    "Yes, I do."

    "How?"

"They told me. They said that I was never allowed to come home." The night dragged on and lasted for an eternity. Ashley had barley gotten any sleep. Spencer on the other hand was practically dead. The sun silently peeked over the hills. Ashley knew what her new mission was. She needed to be reunited with her family.
