    Ash and Mandy finally talk

    Ashley had her arm around Spencer while she talked with the police officers.

     

    “Do you have any ideas why you mother would want to take Tyler?” the middle-aged police officer asked her.  Spencer looked over at Ashley as a few more tears fell from her eyes.

     

    “Um…” Spencer was a little hesitant to tell the officer about her and Ashley, but his kind eyes made her feel a bit more comfortable.  “Actually um… I had just told her about… I’m getting married.”  The man smiled at her.

     

    “Is your fiancé coming here?”  Ashley smiled at Spencer and then turned to answer the officer for her.

     

    “I’m right here.”  The officer was a little shocked but just wrote the information down on his note pad and continued through some more questions.  About half-way through Ashley’s phone started ringing.  She turned away from the officer and Spencer when she saw that it was her home. 

     

    “Hello?”

     

    “A….Ashley?”  Mandy’s voice stuttered through the earpiece.  The brunette stayed quiet, in too much shock to say anything.  “Ashley are you there?”

     

    “What do you want?”  She meant for it to come out annoyed, but it only sounded like a lost child.

     

    “I was wondering if we could talk.  Like really talk.  We have a few things to clear up, and… and I really want to clear them up.”

     

    “Actually now isn’t…”  Before she could finish her sentence Spencer had the phone up to her ear.

     

    “She’ll meet you at Chloe’s Diner in 15 minutes.  Okay… bye Mandy.”  And with that she hung up and turned her attention to a red faced Ashley.  “Go.”

     

    “What if I don’t want to? Did you ever think to ask me what I wanted to do before you made plans for me?”

     

    “Ash…. Go.  You need to clear some things up with your… with Mandy.” Ashley’s look softened at the thought of her ‘mother’ waiting to talk to her.

     

    “But I need to be with you.”

     

    “I will call you if I hear anything… okay? I’ll be alright I’ve got my dad here, and all we are doing is waiting for anything to happen.  Go… please?”  Ashley nodded and kissed Spencer lovingly on the lips before nodding at the smiling middle-aged officer, and heading out the door.  Spencer blushed when she saw that the officer had seen the kiss.

Ashley certainly deserves happiness after all the years she felt so lost and alone, now she has her own family that she can love and be loved in return. Excellent update babykennedy…thanks for continuing the story for ashspencefan,..I’ve certainly missed this wonderfully written story. I think this story is really good.I’ve been into this story since the beggining,but i’ve been waiting 4-ever for chapter 36,when is it coming?I’m curious as to what happened to Tyler and Paula and if Spencer and Ashley will get him back.I’m also glad Ashley finally has some closure in her life and now knows who her mother is.please update soon!!!
