The Sun, The Moon and You
Kelly slept through the whole car ride, not noticing the blaring green, a big difference from the sunlit beaches she was used to.
Kelly had dark brown hair with bright, natural highlights. She had tan skin and was very athlethic. Her eyes were mood eyes, so her eyes changed color with her mood.
The car stopped in front of a white house, two floors. The house had changed since Kelly was here last, 12 years ago. She was 16 now.
"Come on. Let's go get you set up." said her step-father. Kelly was sent here for a while, to visit her step-father and her sister. Kelly and her sister shared the same mother, but different fathers. Kelly grabbed the couple of bags she had, and followed after her father into the house.
The living room was still the same, except for the large screen tv. The kitchen was the same, yellow cupboards, small fridge.
"Your bedroom is upstairs. Call down if you need any help." Kelly went up the stairs into her new room. The room was small, had one bed, a closet, a dresser, and a desk with an old computer on it. Kelly sighed and plopped her things down. She slowly unloaded all of her stuff into the dresser. Finally, she pulled out her ipod and pluged it in. She blasted the music til it hurt her ears. She laid down on the bed and closed her eyes.
Kelly woke up about an hour later, to the loud sound of pouring rain. Kelly groaned. 'Florida! I wish for Florida!' Kelly screamed in her head. She got out of her room to the smell of pizza. She rushed to the kitchen.
"Want some?" her stpe-father asked.
"Yes!" Kelly said, delighted. She sat down , smelling the strong aromas around her. Ever since her sixteeneth birthday, her senses were heightened and she changed. Kelly bit ito her pizza hungarily. Her stpe-father laughed and then went into the living room to watch the baketball game. Kelly went to go sit with him. She enjoyed wtching sports, mostly basketball and volleyball, since those were the sports she played.
"So are you ready for school tomarrow? her step-father asked during half-time.
"Yeah I guess. I still need a car to drive though." Kelly said.
