South Of Nowhere – 2.19 – Things Meant To Be
Ashley was driving down the freeway, and there were tears covering her face, glistening in the failing light of the day. She couldn’t believe that her life had taken this turn for the worst. Just when things were looking up, god had to turn around and bat one out of the park. Life was never fair, even when you worked for it. Now everything was ruined, she’d never be able to stay with Spencer. Things, from here on out, were going to get even more complicated.
Reaching over to her phone, pressing the redial button, the line connected to a voice mailbox, “God, I know you haven’t called me back. I don’t know what to do, please… please get this message… I need you. I know, that I haven’t exactly been the crown princess, but I really need you…,” cried Ashley, as the mailbox told her that her time had expired, cutting her message short again.

“Dad, I’m being serious,” stated Spencer, who was on the phone with someone, “No one can find her,” lamented Spencer, trying Ashley’s cell phone again, and getting the voice box. She left another desperate plea for Ashley to call her.
“Spencer, if Ashley wants you to know…,” cutting in over Arthur, Clay waves his cell phone around like a flag.
“Ok! I have one girl telling me that Ashley’s dad, he’s a rock god?” Clay asked, and both Glen and Spencer rolled their eyes, “Died of an overdose.”
“I have someone who said she has cancer. Someone else she’s pissed off about Dana Fairbanks, who is Dana Fairbanks?” asked Glen and Spencer groaned, Glen waves his hands, “She’s pissed that Dana is dead. Oh, and some girl told Aiden that she was upset because they repo’ed her car. If they did that, what did she drive away in? Duh.”
“SEE!” Spencer stated, waving a hand in frustration at her predicament, which was, she didn’t know what was wrong with her girlfriend. Spencer hadn’t been able to find her, she’d called everywhere. They were supposed to be going to Gray to practice for open mic, Ashley was supposed to be singing tonight. There was nothing on earth that would stop her from getting up on that stage tonight.

I forgot to add that I LMAO @ Ashley going missing over being pissed off about Dana Fairbanks. Aren’t we all pissed?!? Stupid L Word. *grumbles*
