This Is My Life, Like It Or Not – (Chapter: Ch.5 Finally)

I got up on my bed slowly and looked at myself in the mirror, I had a tear stained face and red eyes, great just what I want to look like.  Oh well, I went into my closet and grabbed the first thing I saw and changed my clothes.  I didn’t want to smell anything like Aiden when I was with Ashley.

    Honk honk

I ran downstairs and out the door yelling to my mom as I left, “mom I’m going to lunch be back.”  Leaving without waiting for an answer.  I got into Ashley’s porsh and looked over at her.

“Spencer, seriously what wrong you look like crap.”

    “Thanks, really”

“You know I didn’t mean it like that..” she said looking at me with sad eyes.

“I know” I then turned from her and looked out the window “lets go we can talk when we get there.”  I needed to get my thoughts straight, get my life straight.

“okay” I knew she continued to look at me for a few minutes before pulling away “tacos then the beach okay?’

    “ya” I said emotionless

We went throught the drive though then headed to the beach she kept looking at me but I just continued to stare out the window.

As we pulled up to a stop light she looked at me again, “your not mad at me, are you?”  she honestly looked worried and I started to feel bad

    “no”

“what with the one word answers?”

    “nothing”

“fine whatever” she turned back to the light and waiting.

I knew I was just digging myself in deeper with the way I was treating her, so I decided to change that, but only once we got to the beach.  About 10 minutes later we pulled up and got out.

“You going to take off your shoes?”

“Ya, harder to walk with them on.” I looked at her and smiled.

“Geez what with the all of a sudden mood change?” she frowned and looked straight at me, not looking away.

“Sorry” I looked down at my feet “I need to tell you something, its been killing me lately Ash”

“um, okay?” She looked toward the water for a few seconds “lets go over there” she pointed toward the pier.
