Spener and Ashley walked in to the hospital waiting room to see Aiden pacing up and down and checking his watch.
he looked up and quickly made his way over to the girls "where the hell have you been,ash?" he asked with a little anger in his voice.
"i’m here now aren’t i, just tell me what’s wrong" she replied in an equally annoyed tone.
"your mum’s been in an accident it’s bad you have to go see her".
to this ashley grabbed spencer’s hand and stomped off shouting over her shoulder "which ward?"
" 17" aiden replied while watching her walk away.
they arrived at her mother’s hospital room with some helpful directions from a nurse.
ashley opened the door and spencer took a step forward but ashley put her hand out stopping her.
"i’m gonna go in first , i’ll call to ya in a minute" she said while stepping in side and closing the door.
Spencer took a seat and did as ashley had asked.
ash let out a strangled gasp when she saw her mother.
There were countless tubes and wires coming from everywhere and her mother looked small and frail, not like the strong-minded bitch ashley always saw.
She slowly walked over and took a seat next to her mother she observed every movement and every sound coming from the room.and to her surprise her eyes filled with tears and they began streaming down her face.
Spencer stood up and went over too the door ashley had been in the room for over an hour and spencer was beginning to worry, she slowly turned the handle and stepped in to see ashley holding one of her mother’s hand and quietly whimpering while tears flowed freely from her eyes.
Spencer quickly dashed over to the brunette and enveloped her in a tight hug.
ashley colapsed in Spencer’s arms and buried her head in the crook of the blondes neck letting out muffled sobs as spencer stroked her hair and cooed in her ear " everything’s gonna be alright baby, i promise".

wait wait wait. I did NOT miss that authors note. Your WHAT??? You guys live an ocean apart. Do we have to write Riley/HD FF now??? Would that be ROPE or HILEY fiction? Um.. oh, the story, sorry, so caught up in your lives that I missed that for a second. Not that I didn’t read it because I did. And it was good. And what the hell happened to Ashley’s mom??? Huh? Thank heavens to betsy for Spencer… now back to this Hiley business
