Ashley rang the doorbell to my Dad’s house. Glen opened the door. “We have a score to settle, Carlin,” Ashley began rather angrily.

“I don’t know what you’re so pissed about,” responded Glen. Spencer lived just like I said that she would.

“Yes, she lived because I got to her in time,” Ashley stated. She’s your sister, and you don’t even care that you’re hurting her. She’s your sister!

“I don’t have a dyke for a sister,” snarled Glen. Ashley grabbed Glen by his collar. “I don’t understand why you’re so angry for. You knew this was coming. If you would’ve backed down like a good lesbo, my sister would be fine.” Ashley began to punch Glen repeatedly. “Stop it!”

“Why should I?” Ashley questioned furiously. When Spencer pleaded for you to stop that day in the parking lot, did you listen? No, you didn’t. Madison came out of the house.

“What the hell are you doing here?” asked Madison coldly. I don’t know if you got the memo, but your life partner no longer lives here.

“I’m aware,” Ashley stated. I’m also aware that karma’s a bitch, Madison. Now I could kill two birds with one stone. Ashley went towards Madison and hit her. Glen tried to pull Ashley away from Madison, but to no avail.

Later on, Ashley walked into her apartment. “Hey Ash,” I said with a smile. I missed you. Ashley smiled and kissed me sweetly on the lips. I intensified the kiss. Ashley stopped the kiss.

“Hey,” said Ashley. I missed you, too. What’s going on?

“Nothing much,” I replied. I noticed Ashley’s knuckles were bruised. I took her hand in mine and kissed her knuckles. “What happened to your knuckles, sweetie?”

“Madison and Glen finally got what was coming to them,” explained Ashley. I think they finally got the message. Ashley let out a light chuckle. “Are you mad, babe?”

“No, I’m sorry you got hurt because of me,” I responded with a sigh. You didn’t have to do that.

“Yes, I did because no one gets away with hurting my girlfriend and thinks that they could get away with it,” stated Ashley. You’re worth getting the bruises over. On to another subject, our one month anniversary is coming up in a few days and I was thinking that I would make dinner for my incredibly beautiful girlfriend. How does that sound?

“Sounds like you’re the perfect girlfriend,” I smiled. Ashley returned the smile.

“No, you are,” responded Ashley.

A couple days later, I told Chelsea about Ashley and me’s anniversary. “Wow, one month already?” asked Chelsea. It feels like you two have been together longer.

“I know,” I agreed. It’ll be nice to have a drama free night for once. It does feel like it’s been longer than a month for me, too. Ashley and I have gone through a lot in one month. I’m surprised she hasn’t left or got scared off because of Glen or maybe it’s just me who’s scared, Chels.

“Ashley waited for you and I know that she wouldn’t give up on you easily,” responded Chelsea. Even though Glen and Madison have given you two grief for being together, Ashley loves you and everyone gets scared. Some people are just better at hiding it than others. Ashley appeared and wrapped her arms around my waist.

“Hey beautiful,” Ashley smiled as she kissed me on my cheek. Hi, Chelsea.

“Davies, I have to head to class, but your other half needs some loving,” Chelsea explained. Ashley chuckled and Chelsea left.

“What’s up?” Ashley questioned with curiosity.

“No, I was just telling Chelsea that I was surprised you haven’t left or got scared off because of my brother,” I explained simply.

“I don’t scare easily,” smiled Ashley. Why would I want to leave the best thing that’s ever happened to me? Sure, we’ve had a rough month because of your asshole of a brother and the wannabe Barbie doll, but we’ve had our share of good times, too. I wouldn’t want to trade my good times with you for anything in the world. Tonight is going to be our night for us to celebrate us being together for one month and being in love.
