    This is how I repay you?

    “What can I say? I love them. They are so cute.” I just look at Ashley blinking trying to decide if I’m really seeing what I’m seeing. This is what she meant by me making it up to her? Like I said Ashley Davies never ceases to maze me.

     

                “This is how you want me to make it up to you? By going with you to look at penguins?”

     

                “They are my favorite animal. I wanted to share this with you.” She is so cute.

     

                “You’re not like creepy in love with them like in Good Luck Chuck and like make me do weird stuff to a stuffed penguin right?” We saw that movie together a few weeks ago and both thought it was crazy at the end so I had to make sure she wasn’t a penguin freak. Ha ha.

     

                “You are so funny Spence. I wouldn’t make you go all Dane Cook on a stuffed penguin. In fact, I wouldn’t let you do that to a stuffed penguin. That is like animal cruelty.”

     

                “Ash, it was a stuffed animal. That doesn’t qualify as animal cruelty since it’s not a living animal.” I start laughing at the face she is making. She looks disgusted by what we are talking about and I have to admit I’m a little disgusted as well because of the images of the movie going through my head. I don’t understand how someone can write something that is so weird and wrong. Anyway, Ashley is so adorable while watching the penguins jump into the water and swim and slide. Her eyes light up and she is a little kid again in that moment. “So, all I have to do is stand here with you and watch the penguins?”

     

                “Well…” I knew there was something else. I couldn’t get off that easy. “I want you to go in there with me.” She points through the glass and I look at her confused. How are we supposed to go in there? “I already arranged it so we can go in and feed the penguins. I called while you were in the shower. That’s why it took me a little longer to get ready. I wanted this to be a special day for you and I also wanted to show you something that I really like in the process so we are going to go feed the penguins. That is, if you want to?”

    2. i would totally send you a PM but I cant at the moment so I just tell you here…I wish I would have told you before hand, so you could have put it in the story, so i’ll just tell you now.
