“Did you just growl?” Ashley’s cheeks immediately turn red and she looks away. I have to giggle at this because it is very rare that Ashley Davies blushes or gets embarrassed. “Did I just make the Ashley Davies blush?”

            “Shut up Spencer. That’s not nice.” She pushes me slightly and I almost fall off of the bed. We are both giggling now like little girls.

            “You know what I want to do?”

            “I know what I’m hoping it is you want to do.”  I give her my most shocked look and she just smirks at me. Which of course makes me laugh, ruining my plan of being shocked by her statement.

            “We will get to that at a later date. I really want to go to the zoo.” I bounce on the bed and clap my hands like a little kid. Ashley just looks and me and shakes her head.

            “The zoo? Honestly Spencer, you want to go to the zoo?”

            “Yes. The last time I went to the zoo was in Cincinnati on a field trip in Elementary school. I know the Cincinnati zoo is awesome but I’m sure it has nothing on the zoo here. Please take me to the zoo.” I tilt my head, push out my bottom lip and give her my best puppy dog eyes knowing she couldn’t say no.

            “Aw, don’t do that. You know I can’t say no to that face.” I just stay in full pout mode until I see her resolve crumble. “Fine, I’ll take you to the zoo.”  I jump up off the bed and grab Ashley pulling her up into a huge hug as I bounce around. When I pull away I kiss her on the cheek.

            “This is going to be so much fun.” I grab her hand and pull her out of the room to start heading downstairs to leave when she stops me.

            “Aren’t you forgetting something?” Ashley looks at me with a raised eyebrow and a little smile.

            “Um, I don’t think so. Why?”

            “Spence look at what you are wearing, at what I’m wearing.” I look at her and then down at myself and it hits me like a ton of bricks.
