Spencer eyed glen with this question. When he didn’t answer she got restless and asked again.

“what do you mean ‘normal again’, Glen?”

Glen sat there looking down.

“look Spencer, I am not proud of myself for what I did. But I just thought that. You know, that when you woke up.. You could like, I don’t know, start over.”

Spencer stood up.

“what are you talking about?! What that the fact that my being in a two year coma would just erase everything?! You don’t know, and will never know what I went through!!”

Spencer walked out of the room fuming, she reached the bottom of the stairs and started reaching for her jacket until she heard hushed talking in the kitchen

Oh great, mommy dearest and her husband are fighting. She first heard Ben speaking to her mom, “…this is the way to come at this. You shouldn’t hide it from her. It is her past that you are keeping from her. She has a right to know.” what is he talking about? Paulas voice snapped her out of her thoughts.

“She is not your daughter! I am her mother and I know what is best for her and ‘Her Past’ isn’t what is best!” what? My past? She told me that it didn’t matter.

Ben’s voice came in a shout.

“They were engaged! She was happy! If its not her happiness that is best then I don’t know what to tell you!”

Spencer froze. Engaged? Me? To who? When? how long?! As Spencer thought these things she didn’t hear Ben walking out of the kitchen and into the living room. Once she looked up she saw her mother and Ben standing in front of her with undescribable looks on their faces.

Kyla’s apartment

Kyla stood frozen as she thought to herself.. No it couldn’t be Spencer. She is from Ohio, she would have mentioned something, anything to me.. And she was with that girl from work. Then again Ashley said it was 6 years ago..

“Mommy? What’s wrong with auntie Ky Ky?”

Once Kyla heard her niece’s voice she looked over and for the first time she noticed the similarities between the child and her co-worker. The straight hair. And the exact same eyes that Spencer had. Even the held tilt was unmistakenly the same. But she also had Ashley qualities. Her smile and of course her attitude for growing up with her. She then bent down and hugged her neice.
