We All Love To Score – (Chapter: 1: intro)
I was never one for sports. I was forced to play a sport in high school when I kept on getting into trouble. The school knew I didn’t mind getting suspended, or having detention, or extra work, so they decided to give me something I would really hate. Soccer. I always thought, what’s the point in this game? You kick a ball around, big deal, but it actually turned out quite well. I was the best striker on the team, fastest runner and I got to kick the ball at the cheerbitches. Good times.
I don’t have to work, but I can’t not do anything. I help out at my sisters divorce firm. Honestly, the amout of people that go in there a day, it’s unbelievable. As I only help out there, and as much as I love soccer I won’t go into it professionally, I couch a 6-10 year old boys team 3 nights a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It’s totally free; I do actually have a heart where my money and kids are concerned.
I walk up to Kyla in her office. “Hey Ky, watcha doin’?” I sing.
“Usual. I’ve had two divorces and one more to come today so there isn’t much to do. I can grab lunch after?”
“Alright. Hey you know that girl that got divorced last week-”
“No! I am not giving you her phone number.” Man she knows me so well.
“Ok one, you don’t know what one I was on about, and two, how do you know I wanted her phone number?”
“I do know who you were on about; you never stopped checking her out, long dark hair, emerald green eyes, about yay tall?” She gestured a height with her hands. “Am I right? And because I know you.” She laughed. Fine.
“Fine. Don’t then. But next time there is a hot woman getting divorced I’m taking down the details.” I smirk.
“Sure you are. Like you were last time?”
“You robbed them off me.” I pouted. “Oooh guess who I saw last week?”
“Who?”
“Miss ‘I hate Ashley, well basically anyone who isn’t a cheerleader or a basket ball star because I am sooo above everyone else. But I really hate Ashley.” I mimicked.
