    What's Broken Is…Broken(Part 3)

    Ashley’s POV

I’m at my apartment with Kyla just talking about everything, how I feel, and how I don’t think I can take it anymore.

"I went by her house again today…" I spoke softly.

"Really, did you see her? Did you talk to her?" My sister asked.

"No Kyla I didn’t see her, and I didn’t talk to her…I can’t." I told her. She looked at me like she was disappointed.

"Ashley…" She sighed. "You’re just making this hard on yourself, you need to talk to her. Can’t you see what it’s doing to you, not talk to her?" She asked.

"I know, but I know she won’t talk to me even if I tried. Why would she want to talk to me? What I did was horrible, and I don’t blame her if she never wants to speak to me again." I said playing with my hands nervously. I’ve lost my strength. I’ve lost my power to be the strong Ashley Davies like I use to be. The old Ashley would have talked to Spencer months ago, before it was too late, but now I feel weak.

"Well I think you should at least try Ash, you have to try or you’ll never find out…who knows maybe shes been waiting for you, maybe she misses you just as much as you miss her." Kyla said rubbing my back for comfort.

"I doubt that, but you’re right I need to talk to her, I need to know if she still wants me…I’ll try to talk to her, or at least get her to listen to me…" I tried to be strong, but I felt it coming. All my tears that I’ve been trying to hold back, but it was useless holding them back. I’m so far gone that all I do now is cry when I think about her.

"Oh god Kyla…why do I have to ruin everything!….I just want her back…I want her back…" I sighed as I let my hands cradle my head.

Kyla whispered comforting words as she let me cry like the wreak that I am. After a few minutes I had the strength to get up and go to my own room. I sat on my bed thinking of something I could do to get Spencer to listen to me. After a while I decided I’d write her a letter. It’s the only way I can tell her everything without breaking down.
