Who said life was easy?
EPOV
So, she knew what we were. The music in her head while she stared at me with that smile was odd for the situation.
Wanna tell you a secret and leave it on your lips, wanna sing it through your body, wanna tell it through this kiss. Would you swear to keep it? I didn't know what to make of it. But I suddenly had the urge to smile back at her, and because I wanted to.
"Want to take a tour of the house?" Alice asked her.
"Yeah, I'd love to." Nikki told her.
"Emmett, I need to talk to you about something." I told him.
"Yeah, where you wanna go?" He asked.
"My room, they won't go there." I said flying up the stairs with Emmett right behind me. We got to my room, Rosalie and Alice were showing Nikki the whole house.
"Nikki, she gives me this weird feeling." I said.
"Yeah, like the weird feeling where certain things start to raise there hand? Haha." Fucking Emmett.
"No, you idiot. I feel the need to be around her, I feel the need to hear everything she says and know everything she's doing, why?" I asked. I really needed to know because the song I heard I actually liked, because she was thinking it about me.
"Edward, man, you might love this girl. Do you feel the need to protect her even if it will hurt you?"
"Yes."
"Do you feel happy when you're around her? Even though she rocked you right in the jaw? HAHAHAHAHA!" Emmett started cracking up, but yes I do feel happy around her. I tried so hard, but she knows now, and she's fine with it. That's the best part is she acts like it's normal. No questions, no worries, nothing.
"I think you're right, Emmett, I need to talk to her, thanks brother." I told him then opened the door for him. He walked out and I heard Nikki and Alice coming up the hall. When they past Alice and Rosalie were in front, so as quietly as possible I grabbed her and pulled her into my room and locked the door.
