So it’s pretty much been forever since I’ve posted, huh? Well I hope you all haven’t completely lost interest, and I’ll try not to keep you waiting for too long the next time. I’ve just been really preoccupied with the new volleyball season and starting highschool. This story is still loosely based off of the song “Why Can’t I?” by Liz Phair. This chapter will start to be more like the song, but don’t worry, I wont make those cheesy posts with random lines of songs in the middle of them that no one reads anyways. Or at least I know I don’t…so this is as close to a song fic as I will go! Please review so I know if any of you are even still interested!

Previously on Why Can’t I?

“Well maybe I’ll just go inside and lock you out here?” Ashley joked lifting herself out of the pool, but stopping half way when she felt hands on her hips. She was still holding herself half way out of the water and her legs and butt where in the water. Her shirt had ridden up revealing the lower half of her back.

“Is this real?” Spencer asked as she outlined Ashley’s tattoo that was on her lower back with her finger tip.

“Uhm…uh…yeah…yeah it is…” Ashley stuttered. That spot on her back had always been sensitive since she had gotten the tattoo in the beginning of the year, and the fact that Spencer was touching it with the rain all around her, she turned to putty.

She was then shocked once again as she felt hot heat tracing the lines of the tattoo, and looked over her shoulder to find that Spencer had leaned down and was tracing it with her tongue. Ashley felt a trickle of warm liquid come out between her legs, and new it had absolutely nothing to do with the rain. Once Spencer had finished tracing the lines, she placed a gentle kiss right above the design and Ashley slipped back in the water turning herself to face Spencer.

“You are so beautiful, do you know that?” Ashley said seriously, wondering how she could be so lucky at this exact moment.
