(Spencer’s POV)

        My brother, Glen, is the one that drives me to school and he had to get there early for basketball or something. As he pulls up to his normal parking space at school, I notice right away that Ashley’s sitting at a table in the quad…alone. Glen goes off to the gym so he can practice his free throws or whatever, and I take a seat just 1 table away from Ashley. I pull out my science homework, the only class i have with Ashley, and start to look like i have no idea what to do. Ashley looks over to me and notices how confused i am and starts to make her way over to me. She lightly taps me on my right shoulder and jump 3 feet in the air.

Ashley- "I’m sorry, I didnt mean to scare you Spencer." Shes says while laughing a little.

Spencer- "It’s ok, you didnt….scare me I….I thought I saw a…spider and tried to kill it." I stutter.

Ashley- "Sure you were…I was just wondering if you needed help with Ms.V’s homwwork?"

Spencer- "Umm….accutally, ya I do need help with it. A LOT of help."

Ashley- "Ok. Well lets get started."

        Ashley is sooo smart!!! I knew how to do the work but the way she was teaching me made it feel like i was learning something new. She helped me until some of our friends showed up.

Ashley- "Well it seems like you understand it now so I’m gonna let you finish."

Spencer- "Ya I get it now. Thank you for helping me."

Ashley- "No problem. If you ever need help with anything just come and ask me."

Spencer- "Ok I’ll remember that."

Ashley- "I’ll see ya in 7th then."

Spencer- "Ya, see ya."

        I gave a hint that i wanted a hug and she gave me one. When we touched it felt like my body was on fire but i never wanted it to end. When we stoped hugging we said "GoodBye" again and ahe went off to her table. I watched as she gave her girlfriend, Alison, a kiss, and I felt like nothing will ever happen between us.
