I climbed out of the pool and looked at all of the people in the water trying to identify one as Spencer, but she wasn’t in the pool. I wrapped myself in my towel and I noticed hers was missing. I stepped inside and there were puddles of water that lead through the kitchen, up the stairs and straight to Aiden’s room. I’m no detective, but I think Spencer is in here. I opened the door and sure enough there she was. Wrapped in her towel, laying face down on Aiden’s bed. I sat down beside her and started playing with her hair.

Ashley: “Spencer, honey. Are you ok?”

She didn’t say anything, so I rolled her over.

Ashley: “Spence?”

Her eyes fluttered open and she just stared at me.

Ashley: “ You ok?”
Spencer: “ No, I’m not ok. There is something between you and Aiden that you wont tell me. How can you expect me to trust you when you keep secrets from me?”

So this is it. I have to explain it to her now. Unless I want her mad at me forever.

Ashley: “ You want me to tell you now?”
Spencer: “Yeah that would be nice.”
Ashley: “We used to date. A long time ago. We loved each other. We thought it was real, but now that I have experienced real love I know that what I felt with Aiden was barely anything at all. He got me pregnant too. We lost it and after that we fell apart. I was really sad. I wanted to keep it, but I guess everything works out in the end. Because now I have you and I couldn’t be any happier. You are it for me Spence.”
Spencer: “Wow, I understand why you didn’t want to talk about it, but when you say you have experienced real love who do you mean? Someone else I should know about? haha”
Ashley: “No, silly. It’s you. You are my life now. My everything. I never dreamed I could love someone the way I love you. Every time I see you it takes my breath away.”

Spencer leaned up off of the bed and kissed my cheek. I laid down beside her and she rested her head on my chest.

Spencer: “You always know just what to say to make my heart want to beat out of my chest.”
Ashley: “Glad I can be of assistance.”
Spencer: “Ash”
Ashley: “Yeah, Spence?”
Spencer: “Everything you just said. It was so beautiful… and I feel the exact same way about you.”
Ashley: “Forever.”
Spencer: “Forever… I just wish you felt comfortable telling me stuff like this. Instead of driving me crazy before finally telling me.”
Ashley: “ I do feel comfortable telling you anything. I just want to forget all about those days. That’s why I never wanted to bring it up. Everyone around here already knows about it, so I didn’t have to tell them, but you knew nothing about it and it felt good that you didn’t know. I guess you are the one person I would want to know though. Out of everyone else who is in my business I suppose I would want you to know above any of them.”
