    We were RIGHT by the door when Ashley stopped dead in her tracks and motioned for us to hide behind her desk.

    Kyla’s Pov

    Ashley and I sat in the car for what seemed like forever. It was pitch black outside and the lights were still on inside the building. Ash and I stopped talking about 20 minutes ago, so I assumed she was lost in thoughts of Spencer. This girl would risk everything to make sure Spencer was ok. I really hope I get that kind of love some day.

    I looked down at the clock and it was almost time for Ashley to get Spencer. I was staring at the building and I noticed some of the lights were going out. This must be it. I looked over at Ashley and she had her head propped on the door, sleeping. I grabbed her arm and shook her.

    Kyla: “Ash it’s time.”

    She jerked up and took in her surroundings. Her eyes darted down at the cars clock.

    Ashley: “Woah, I didn’t mean to fall asleep. I’m just so… ugh.”
    Kyla: “That’s what I am here for. Now go get your girl.”
    Ashley: “I want you to take the car. Once I get inside park extremely close to the doors so we can run out and just go.”
    Kyla: “Ash, I cant drive.”
    Ashley: “Which means this is an extremely serious situation if I am asking you to drive my car. Spencer is more important than this car. And you wont have to drive for long. Just have it pulled up to the front so we can jump in and go. I’ll take over from there. Just be sitting in the back seat once you park.”
    Kyla: “Alright, I can handle that much. Just goooo.”

    Ashley jumped out of the car and ran towards the front of the building and I was preparing myself to drive for the very first time.

    Arthur’s Pov

    I was pacing the living room wondering what Paula planned on doing to my daughter. I wanted to help her, but it was hard seeing as I had absolutely no clue as to where she was. I heard a car pull up and a door slam. Just one door. I walked to the front door and I saw my wife walking through the threshold.

    Arthur: “Where is Spencer?”
    Paula: “She is getting help.”
    Arthur: “WHERE IS SHE?”

    I never raised my voice, but I was so angry at my wife. How could she just run off with out daughter and leave her somewhere and expect me to just allow it.
