Without Reason – (Chapter: Dont Forget it…)

    Chapter 2: Dont Forget it..

Friday was Spencer’s “easy” day. Every other day of the week ends around 5 or 6, but on Friday she only had one class, which ended at 3:30, afterward she’d usually head over to one of the park benches, and write, or maybe read a book, though usually she always became sidetracked with thoughts of Ashley. Today she decided to head back to her dorm room. Nonetheless, on her way back, her thoughts still resided with Ashley. God I miss her. She thought to her self. The sad thing is, there was absolutely nothing she could do.

Finally she reached the outside of here building and went inside to the second floor. Still not being able to figure out the whole key thing, Spencer struggled to unlock the door. Finally getting it unlocked she picked up her things and opened up the door.

“Hey Spencer, how was worrrrk?” Charlee, Spencer’s roommate asked.

Charlee’s real name is Charlene, which she hates, so she just goes by Charlee. Spencer was not thrilled about her having a new room mate. She had roomed with Ashley her freshman year, and enjoyed having her girlfriend with her whenever she wanted, especially without parental supervision. Toward the end of second semester, the time when Ashley disappeared, Spencer got used to being alone, she actually didn’t want to be around other people for a while. She would spend nights crying herself to sleep, skipping class, not wanting to exist. Fortunately it was the end of the semesters and she made it through finals.

When Aiden got Spencer the job at triangle, she stayed in the dorms on campus for the summer in her own room, where she wanted to be alone, and unless is was Ashley coming back, she wanted it to stay that way.  Unfortunately for Spencer, summer ended and the university needed to fill up the dorms, so she  was paired up with Charlee.

Eventually Spencer warmed up to Charlee. She was a very sweet, funny person who loved to talk, but was also a very good listener. Charlee played on the lacrosse team at their school, proving her to be a very athletic girl.

Spencer learned that not only is she athletic, but she’s a genius too. Her report card of first semester proved that. She received an A+ in every class, meaning deans list, honors society, and top of her class. Though when you meet Charlee, you would never expect that. Now she’s not dumb, but she doesn’t force her brain on you. Basically Charlee can be described as laid back and goofy, rarely studies, probably because she doesn’t need to, and just likes to have a fun time. To top it all off Charlee dates the captain of the Men’s Lacrosse team, Reed, who happens to be Aiden’s roommate.
