    Promises, Requests, and Newspaper clippings

    He looked like a nice guy, a strong guy with brown hair and brown eyes. He was shone smiling in the picture, ‘He looks friendly enough… kind of familiar.’ She scrutinized the picture further, staring hard at the face in the newspaper. ‘Did I see him at school? No…’

    Her eyebrows furrowed in concentration as a myriad of memories sprang to the forefront of her minds eye, only to be discarded when they didn’t provide the answer she was seeking. ‘Who are you?’

    Johnie’s Coffee Shop at the corner of Wilshire and Fairfax was a historical land mark in Los Angeles and had some of the best milkshakes in the city. After a long time closure, they had just recently re-opened the famous diner to the public and it was there that Ashley, Sean, Boz, Aiden, and Clay were now seated.

    As it was during the day, it was relatively empty aside from two people sitting on the other side of the shop and the waitresses behind the counter. Clay looked in absolute awe of the place. He’d seen this diner in movies like American History X and had never thought he’d ever get the chance to actually sit down where Edward Norton sat and have a milkshake.

    “You think this is crazy? Across the street in front of the Automotive Museum, Biggie got shot and killed there.” Sean stated as he pointed to the place in question.

    Clay looked at him with a confused expression until he realized who he was talking about. “Oh! That rapper who was involved with that east coast west coast war right?”

    “Yeah man.”

    “Wow.”

    A girl who had to be in her early 20s wearing a pink and black 1950′s style uniform with red hair and blue eyes came up to the teens with a pad of paper and a pen in her hand. “Welcome to Johnie’s guys, I’m Tracy. What will it be?”

    “Strawberry Milkshake.” Ashley answered despondently.

    Aiden eyed her appreciatively, she was cute to say the least and he instinctively gave the most charming smile possible. “Chocolate here.”

    The girl returned the smile briefly before moving onto Clay. Her eyebrows shot up in surprise at the visible swelling his lip was currently undertaking. “Rough day?”

    2. oooooooooooooh oh man this is getting good….reallllly good…lol, i cant wait til the meeting though…some shit is gonna go down…and spencer…oh wowies, she hasnt the slightest idea of who raw is…wtf, i mean when she figures it out and it finally clicks for her…shes gonna be fumming….but i have to say that the hormonal teenage part of me is begging you to…ehmmm well to please continue with the ash and spence “show”…lol, as in their ache to be with each other lol…i loved this chapter, but i cant wait for the next post, your writing always leaves me wanting more…which is a good thing, so POST MORE… : )
