The traffic on Ocean Avenue was surprisingly light for a Sunday afternoon. Dano, Ashley and Spencer sat in the back of Gideon’s car while Aiden sat in the passenger’s seat. The ride there had been spent making small talk and just enjoying the salty breeze as it filtered in through the windows.
Spencer hadn’t really been out of her house aside from visiting Dano’s family and going to her therapist. It was nice to get back into the real world and experience everything she loved about California from the warm weather to the sights and sounds. Still, she was wary even though she didn’t show any outward signs of the fact. Whether it was the impending hustle and bustle of the pier that made her nervous or something else altogether, she wasn’t sure. Either way, she wasn’t going to let it ruin her day out with her friends and girlfriend.
“We’re here.” Gideon stated as he pulled into the parking lot.
Aiden smiled as two bikini clad women strolled past the car. “Sweet.”
“So where to first?” Ashley asked as she climbed out of the car.
“I don’t know. How bout we hit up the games and go from there?” Dano offered.
The group agreed and began strolling down the pier towards center of the attractions. Aiden and Gideon had already shunned their shirts and were strutting around like a pair of peacocks on display while the girls poked fun at them from behind.
Ashley had on a pair of denim short shorts and white t-shirt with the words ‘Rock Star’ printed across it in Gothic letters. Spencer was sporting some jeans and simple pink t-shirt while Daniella had opted for a white-beater and black board-shorts.
Being around Aiden, Gideon, and Dano, Spencer couldn’t help but notice how short she and Ashley were in comparison. She also had the growing suspicion that her dark skinned friend had grown a bit.
“Dano.”
“Yeah?”
“How tall are you exactly?”
“Um… I think 5’7 or somethin round that.”
“Really? Because I think you grew.”
“Serious?”
“Uh huh.”
“Lovely. Next thing I know I’ll be taller than the green giant.”
“It’ll go perfectly with your giant mouth.” Gideon chirped from up ahead.
“Which would perfectly compliment your giant ego.” Daniella retaliated, muttering “Jackass.” under her breath.

I had sooo many thoughts in my head at that moment!! I was like all shitt please dont let Ashley get hurt or anybody else for that manner!! Then I was panicking because I thought.. mmmm what if they got spencer before they opened on Ashley, dano and the others!!! PLEASE tell me that they didnt!! OoO and ashley better get straight with spencer! Spencer is having a really hard time right now and the longer Ashley holds out on her and then when she finds out, Ashley is gonna rather be in the whole gun situation again! I am horrified and I NEED/WANT you to tell me that its okay and make everything all better!! a.k.a update soon and please dontlet anything bad happen!! Your a great writer, im a little scared of you but you are fanfuckingtastic at writing!
