“Are they up and dressed?” Who’s they. Oh damn I’m slow, she must be talking about the kids.

“Yeah.” I get up and look through my closet for something to wear for today.

“Can you please give me a ride, to take them to school?” I look at her for a minute. I think about asking her why don’t they, just take they day off, their already late, but I want because it will just lead to an argument that I do not feel like having.

“Yeah, just let me grab a jacket.”

I grabbed a jacket and me and Ashley went down stairs. I told Aaron I was going to take them to school and I’d be right back. Ashley and I dropped off the kids at their schools. She told me Sage will pick them up from their bus stops and take them to her house. So now it’s just me and Ashley driving back to my house.

“Are you mad at me?” Ashley looks over at me. My question is the first thing that’s been said between us since being in the car alone.

“No, I jus… they need to go to school. You need to go to school. I don’t see why you’re skipping to just sit around at home.” I glance at her then return my attention to the road.

“I take it your not a morning person, because there is no other reason for you to be making such a big deal out of this.” I can feel her eyes burning a whole into the side of my face.

“I’m sorry if my family doesn’t have the money to pay the school off, if we fail.”

“Just because I miss a little school doesn’t mean I’m a dumbass. You don’t know anything about my academic life. And just because I have money doesn’t mean I go around using it to my advantage.” Ashley turns her head away from me and looks out the window.

“Whatever.”She says as I park the car in my drive way.

“I don’t even know why I like you. You’re such a jerk.” I get out the car, slamming the door.

“Spencer!” I give her the finger and keep walking.

I’m getting ready for bed now. My parent’s, came home early, good thing I got rid of everyone before they showed up at the house. After Ashley and I argument in the car, I went inside were Rick, Jill and Aaron were waiting on me. I went up stairs and got dressed, Ashley kept trying to talk to me but I told her I didn’t want to talk to her. Eventually she got her things and left. I went back down stairs where my friends and I hung out all day. I kicked everyone out around nine. My parent showed up at 9:30. I have the best timing.
