Ashley’s POV

It’s friday, finally! Hell Yeah! The last day before i can kick off my spring break. I’m daydreaming in math class but then i’m interuppted.

"haha Ash what’s with the weird daze?" Aiden asks.

that’s aiden, my best friend. he has been since freshman year. he’s pretty much family considering i don’t really have any.

"oh, just missing what life outside of math class is like" I say. He chuckles.

"i know. but hey you’ll be at my ‘kick off to spring break’ party tonight right?"

"are you kidding? duh!" i say a bit too loud.

"Ms. Davies. Mr.Dennison. perhaps you two could enlighten me on what the answer to #24 is?" Mr. Banks says sternly.

shit. i have no idea.

"uhh. i got…" i start to say then Aiden yells out, "with the inequality, y < x + 1, you shade under the dotted line."

"very good mr.dennison. okay class, no homework. enjoy your week off."

thank god Aiden is smart when he wants to be. 

Bell rings.

Yes lunch, i’m outta here.

I’m in the quad listening to my ipod and going through the latest cosmo magazine when Aiden and Kyla show up.
Kyla’s my half sister and she’s been living with me and my mom for a little over a year now. And during that year, she’s been dating Aiden.
But this is our normal thing, sitting together at lunch everyday.

"Hey Ash." Kyla says.

"Hey guys, whats up?" I ask back.

"Nothing much. You excited for tonight? This one can’t stop talking about it." Kyla says pointing to Aiden.

"haha i know. he nearly got me in trouble today in math."

"yeah but dont’t forget that i then saved your ass." Aiden says defending himself.

"yeah you’re right i’ll give you that."

"hey but i hear people from Westmont are going to be at your party Aid." Kyla informs us.

Westmont is our rival school.

"that’s cool i guess. they just better not try anything tonight." Aiden says.

"Aiden, we’re talking about Westmont here. you know, we hate them and they hate us. but whatever i guess we’ll see what goes down tonight." I say not really caring.

Spencer’s POV

As much as i like school, i’m really looking forward to getting a week off from it. It’s the last period, i’m in chemistry class right now and we’re all doing labs with our partners. The lab was just for fun, not for a grade or anything, so i wasn’t really putting my best effort into it. All my effort was going into talking with Chelsea and Carmen.

"You guys heard about the party thats happening at that kid’s house who goes to King right?" Carmen randomly asks.

"Yeah, my brother Glen was ranting about that this morning. Why?" I say.

"Cause we should all go." Carmen says with entusiaism.

"I think Clay mentioned he wanted to go." Chelsea tells us.

Clay is my other brother and he and Chelsea are dating.

"Sweet. So i’m in, Chels is in, Clay’s in, we all know Glen’s in. Only one left is you Spence. You in?" Carmen asks practically begging me to say yes.

I make a face acting like i’m actually thinking about it.

"I’m in!"

"Ms. Carlin, how’s that lab coming along?" Mrs. Sannders jokingly asks.

"It’s coming along great Mrs. Sanders." I reply joking back.

Then the bell rang, ending school and starting my break which i intend to make nothing but fun.
