Ding Dong!
I rang the doorbell for the third time. Still there was no answer. Ashleys car was parked in the driveway so she must have been home. She never goes anywhere without it. I tried calling her cell all day and it went unanswered, which is strange for Ash. She hadn’t shown up at school today and seemed fine when I saw her last night.
‘Fuck it’ I thought to myself and opened the front door. " ASH!? Are you here?"
No answer. I heard some noise coming from upstairs in the direction of Ashleys room. Walking quietly, I made my way up the stairs and up to her doorway. I look in the doorway to see Ashley on the lounge. In her hand I spot it.
" You and your damn Xbox 360!" I yell at her in a playful tone. She jumped a mile.
"Dammit Spence do NOT do that! You scared the SHIT out of me!!" She turned back to the big screen. I notice that she seemed to be playing Tony Hawk. " Come sit down babe." She said to me, eyes glued to the game.
" What not even a kiss for your sexy hot girlfriend?" I ask flirtatiously. "I tried calling you all day, and you worried me. But now I know the truth. You love your Xbox more than me." I put on a pout. She paused her game and gave me a quick peck, turning back to the game.
"Babe you know I love you. I also love my Xbox. There’s just no competition. I love the Xbox more." she stated deadpanned. Then began hysterically laughing.
"That is sooo not funny. But!…save your game and turn it off." I ordered. "Aw but.." "No buts." She pouted angrily as she turned it off. She still had a hold of her wireless controller.
" Listen Spence.. I know you hate how much I love this xbox but trust me I’ll make you love it." She said winking at me. This peaked my curiousity. I looked at her questioningly. " Well babe, do you know what this button does?" She pointed to the green A. "Press it." I complied by pressing it and she leaned in and gave me a short simple kiss.
