Chloe: Lucifer, this is my friend Iris. Iris, this is-

Lucifer extends his right hand to Iris, who accepts with her own.

Lucifer: Lucifer Morningstar, Detective Decker’s ace partner in fighting crime.

Lucifer leans down, kissing Iris’s right hand before letting go. Iris smiles politely.

Iris: Looks like everyone else is here.

Chloe: Everyone?

Iris: Um, everyone who can make it.

Lucifer: Hm.

Meanwhile at Milk, Jessica has decided to ignore the world, including her friends and even Trish. She drinks alone, closing her eyes to the women, the music, the world. She breathes in deep before finally exhaling. She knows something important is happening with Felicity. All day she has fought the idea of going over to her house. She opens her eyes.

Jessica: Screw it.

Having paid the bartender and leaving a tip in the jar, Jessica stumbles her way out of Milk and with most of the attention of women still trying to get in, she leaps up to the top of the building, running at a faster speed than that of a normal Olympic level athlete. She is no Flash, but she can leap from rooftop to rooftop.

At Oliver and Felicity’s, everyone is seated in the dining room with Oliver and Felicity side by side at the round table. Oliver looks over the guests.

Oliver: I want to thank you for showing up tonight. I know there are those who were unable to make it, including my own sister, Thea who is a little under the weather tonight. So I’ll be owing her a phone call in a few moments. Felicity and I have an announcement to make.

Chloe looks immediately at Lucifer who begins to open his mouth. Noticing the sudden scowl on his partner’s face inspires him to close it just as quickly. Oliver brings up Felicity’s right hand with his left, showing off a ring that Felicity had just put on in that moment.

Lyla: You’re engaged!

Felicity smirks, nodding.

Barbara: Congratulations.

Liz: Congrats, you two.

Lucifer looks at Chloe.

Lucifer: But it’s fair for someone else to call it out.

Chloe pretends to ignore Lucifer.

Chloe: Congratulations, Felicity and Oliver.

John nods.

John: Good going, man.

Oliver: Well, it’s been a long time coming.

Oliver looks to Felicity in the hope that she will add to the moment verbally.
