17 Reasons Why
“I want someone who works with me.” Bette said.
Jodi shook her head. “You want someone who works for you.”
And that was how their argument ended. What was planned to be a night of laughter and partying ended up in tears and heartache.

Afternoon at Bette’s. By the pool.
“Is it really so hard to be in a relationship with me?” Bette asked Tina.
“You found your match in Jodi.” Tina explained.
“What do I do wrong?” Bette asked Tina.
Tina hesitated.
“Really, what do I do wrong?” Bette begged.
“You feel like your needs are much important than others.”
“Am I really that horrible to be with?” Bette sighed and buried her face on her hands.
Tina put her arms on Bette’s shoulders. “I’d take it any other day rather than the boring man I’ve been seeing.” She sincerely said.
Bette took her face off her hands and looked at Tina.

At the warehouse. Morning.
Bette and Alice just helped Shane into crossing the fence.
“I really don’t know Bette but I think Tina wants to get back with you.” Shane said while resting on top of the fence.
“Yeah. Me too.” Alice quipped.
Bette gave Alice a push so she can also cross the fence. “What are you guys talking about? If she wants me back then why is she helping me get Jodi back?” Bette said before mumbling to herself. “OK. We have the pliers, steak, rope…” Bette was in the other side of the fence in no time.
“Steak?” Shane asked.
“I dunno. Maybe she plans to feed us after.” Alice said before two big dogs came barking at them.
“Holy fuck!” Shane said scrambling to get to the other side again.
“Ack! Shit!” Alice shrieked following Shane’s lead.
Bette got the steak and lured the dog and locked them.
At the top of the warehouse
“I have got to hand it to you Bette. This is so fucking romantic.” Shane said looking at the “17 Reasons Why” sign.
“Well, if you just get back to Tina then we won’t have to go through this trouble.” Alice said sarcastically.
“Let’s do this.” Bette said decisively ignoring Alice.

I am sniffling because I am excited, happy, and full of joy for Bette and Tina. Now why could this situation not happen on the show?

It would have been nice if it had only happened that way on TV. They had to draw it out to keep us watching. But I would have watched anyway if it happen this way. :) I like that Bette used Tina’s words on her. :)
