For Dana and Alice it was hard to believe that Christmas was just 3 weeks away. Dana had no idea on what to get Alice. She knew what she really wanted to get her but that would have to wait till after Christmas.

“Al what do you want for Christmas?”

“Why you’re just going to wait till the last minuet.”

“Not if you give me some ideas.”

“I really want to but I want it to be from your heart.”

“Alright.”

Dana had no idea from her heart. She always messed things up when they had to come from her heart. She spent the next two weeks trying to figure out what to get her. Then she passed by a picture of Alice as a child and it hit her. Alice had a little silver locket that she lost as a child. Dana would find a new one and put a picture of them in it. She picked out a picture and went right to the jewelry store. Dana looked for some time until she found the perfect one.

“Oh my god that’s it that’s the one.”

“Very nice choice Miss.”

“Can I get this picture put in it?”

“You sure can.”

The picture that Dana had picked out was of her and Alice together out side the Provocations Exhibit.

“Oh and on the left hand side can you engrave TO THE NIGHTS THAT CHANGE LIVES?”

“We sure can.”

“How long will this take.”

“About 3 day.”

“Okay thank you.”

Dana was so relieved and so excited about the present. She walked in to her house and Alice noticed the shit ass grin on her face.

“What’s up with you?”

“I don’t know what you are talking about Al.”

“Yes you do you have that shit ass grim on your face.”

“I just got you present.”

“Oh really yea what did you get me.”

“Oh you’re just going to have to wait till Christmas.”

“It’s only a week away now.”

“I know.”

The next 5 days Dana and Alice spent decorating their house. They were going to have everyone over for Christmas dinner. On one of her many trips out Dana picked up Alice‘s present it was gorgeous. It was now Christmas Eve and Dana and Alice were lying on the couch in front of the tree.
