“Wow!” Was all Bette could muster as she and Tina finally sat down.
After the drama at the Wrap party they had returned back to Bette’s house to relieve Sally, and after checking on Angelica, Bette had returned to the kitchen to make herself and Tina a drink – a stiff one. They sat side by side on the couch, holding their whiskies in one hand and staring vacantly at the opposite wall in vague disbelief at the night’s events.
Simultaneously they took a sip from their glasses, Tina shaking her head slightly, Bette turned to her.
“Tee…You okay? This whole ending thing, I know how excited you were about Jenny writing such a great ending…” She trailed off, Tina had turned to face her.
“God you know, I was so livid at those fuckers”, she illustrated her point with a pointed gesture, her hand tightening into a kind of half fist, but she relaxed it almost immediately “But then I just saw Jenny, and that look of heartbreak in her eyes and I realized that it doesn’t really matter… it’s bull shit you know – fiction. We’re living our real lives and if we’re doing okay then fuck the ending of some movie… yeah it would’ve been nice to have been a part of the movie that broke the mould, but I know what it’s like to have your life come apart around you and I don’t know… I just feel for her. I feel for her and I know how lucky I am to have found my way back to us.”
“Well, I never thought I’d actually be agreeing with you on this, but I did feel for Jenny tonight… This whole directing experience seems to have mellowed her a bit, she was a nightmare there for a while, but somehow you put up with it and I think that her growth is a reflection on you. You did such a great job with her and together I think you made a really, really important film.”
Bette’s words were sincere, she really couldn’t believe how everything had turned out, Jenny had been so humble, so eloquent and yet so commanding in her speech at the party, Bette had found her feelings of resentment toward the young woman replaced by feelings of an almost maternal kind of pride.

Aww. That was amazing. Branch out of TiBette? Please don’t. We are a loyal crew who need some happy fics. Although, if you just mean add other character from the framily in to add in other storylines I’m cool with it. I just don’t want to see you break-up TiBette or stop writing them completely. You capture them so well that would be a travesty. PPS.
by branch out you mean once in a while add some characters, then return to tibette land sure! lmao’, as you can see, we want it soely to be on tibette, altho I don’t mind every once in a while other characters pop up. PPS, this is interestin, I have said this, and I will say it again, for the first time I can honestly say I love jenny, S5 jenny was awesome!, apart from when she was with Nikki, Urgh never liked that woman. Anyway Im disgusted at shane, how she gon stoop so low, and yet its true, she was the most loyal friend yano. My heart did break for Jenny, first shane n nikki, then changing the ending, thas shitty

I hope branching out of tibette land doesn’t imply parting our couple. I wonder what is going to happen with Jenny, I hope that she is coming to Bette and Tina for comfort and not because something has happened to Shane. Hope to see more soon!
Isn’t it funny how what goes around comes around. Jenny messed with Bette and Tina and made them out to be some monsters in their relationship but went to them in her desperate need. As beachlife said don’t mess with Bette and Tina.
I sure hope you continue…and I hope it has B & T…..you can have others with them…nice story.

Now that’s what I like to see! Some good hot lovin’. 5 years in the making! As long as Tina and Bette are around in some prominent capacity, I think branching out is good. Can’t wait to see how they deal with Jenny.
Can you branch out in some other direction besides Jenny, cause she’s a buzzkill.

Dont feel bad for Jodi she needed to go,..that dance sequence in s5e12 was the absolute best moment of the show and season 5 was the beat season hands down, but what happen to Jenny was just pure wrong during all seasons girl never got a break.
