Bette was headed to her office when she ran into Franklin. Her boss had no way of knowing what was going on, but she felt uneasy around him nonetheless.
«Good morning Bette. So, how did it go with Tina?», he asked.
Bette froze for a moment. «Excuse me ?»
«Yesterday… You know, the tour of the art centre. Did Tina enjoy herself?»
Tina enjoyed herself very much, Bette thought referring to their love making. But he didn’t have to know that… «Oh, yeah, she liked it, Franklin, she really did…»
«Good, I’m glad. Are you OK Bette ? You seem a bit nervous…»
«I’m fine, I just have a lot on my mind that’s all», Bette replied. Like how to steal Tina away from your son… «Sorry Franklin, I have to be going», Bette added, walking away from her boss.
As she stepped into her office, her cell phone rang. It was Alice.
«Hey Al. What’s up ?»
«I didn’t see you at The Planet last night. Did you have plans?»
«I stayed home last night»
«You stayed home ? Not alone, I hope…»
«No, I wasn’t… Tina was there». Bette held her breath, certain her friend would give her hell for seeing Tina again.
«Tina ? Tina ? Bette are you out of your freaking mind ? Lose that woman before you get hurt. Unless she called the wedding off…», Alice asked in a hopeful tone.
«She didn’t… Not yet anyway»
«Are you crazy Bette? Are you fucking crazy?»
«Yeah, I am, Alice, I’m just so fucking crazy in love with that woman. I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing anymore. Tina’s… very vulnerable right now. I can’t pressure her, she has to make a decision on her own. This is a life changing decision Alice… Listen, I have to go. I’ll talk to you later». Bette hung up before Alice had a chance to say anything else. She was right, of course, she couldn’t go on like this… She called Tina on her cell, hoping they could meet later to talk.
«Hi, it’s me…»
«Hey, what a nice surprise», Tina said in a loving voice.
«I miss you…». Bette rolled her eyes. That’s not what she was supposed to say. Be firm, Bette, be firm…

Just talk? Can that really happen between these two ? I’m mean good GOD..everytime they are together all their clothes fall off! LOL! **note to author, I’m good with their clothes falling off***but they should probably talk about their feelings for each other, right? Great story, milady. I’m hooked!

Bette please don’t finish the number before Franklingets to. Tina acting strange huh maybe she has made up her mind to tell Joe it’s over. Hopefully the fallout doesn’t cause Bette to lose her position at CAC. PPS
OMG in the words of Alice what the $#@$%. This is such a good story and you have gone right to the top of my favorite stories and I can tell you I have a pretty long list right now.I hope Tina figures out the “right” thing to do and dump Joe the bore !!. But I sense that Bette is going to catch hell with Franklin when he fiures out the Bette is the one she is having an affair with but then I always thought he was a jerk anyways …PPS … real soon

Boy I really believe that this is common. Like my boss feel in love with my wife at a company dinner. Shoot if it wasnt Franklin son and maybe Bette job I would say go for it. Tina will need to do the breaking up and Bette should stay away until Tina is free. thanks
