A Choice is Made Chapter 3

    Scene Bally’s in Las Vegas

Bette: This place is sweet, a suite on the strip, wow.

Kit: Well you know my connections are more old school and Bally’s is pretty old school for Vegas. However, if we are going to be in Vegas I wanted us right on the strip in the middle of everything. We can walk across the bridge to the Bellagio for dinner, the buffet there is the best in Vegas and I plan to get my money’s worth there. We’ll head up the street to Paris for a drink before dinner so we can watch the dancing lights show. Right now this old lady needs a nap.

Bette: Yea, you should rest. You were up so early today. I’m going to go workout then take a short rest myself before dinner.

The ladies follow through with their plans at by 4pm are refreshed.

Kit: Let’s head over to Paris now so you can do what you love, shop. There are also some great shops in the Bellagio and if you are good. Tomorrow well go see Jimmy Choo’s place at the Venetian. Bette tackles Kit to the bed and peppers her face with kisses.

Bette: Thanks mom!  The girls laugh and dress casually for their shopping exploits and head next door to shopping mall inside Paris.

Bette: They have done an amazing job of recreating the feeling of France here the details are phenomenal.

Kit: My sister the art historian would know these things. Kits smiles and gives Bette a one arm hug.

Bette: Oh, that place is so cute, let’s go find something for Angelica. A look of sadness crosses Bette’s face.

Kit: It’s still OK to love that baby Bette; no child can be loved too much. Let’s go find something cute.

The sisters enter Les Enfants and can’t help but find a few things for Angelica. Bette chooses the Madeline book and Kit chooses Gigi, the Paris Las Vegas’ poodle. They stroll along taking in the sights, smells and sounds of Paris. They can’t resist a stop at Lenôtre French bakery for some authentic treats. They decide on croissants and tea. They then head over to the Bellagio to shop before dinner so they could take the packages back to the room before changing for dinner.

    1. Okay, that was almost painful to read…brr Tina, wrong move.It wasn’t about Josh it was about the fact that Bette just moved out and Tina had “fun” in their home, that’s wrong,so wrong.Anyway good writing,PPVS :)

    2. I agree with elf11, Tina should not have had sexy int B&T’s house and to have Angie in the next room…….that was low. Kit and Bette having a good old time in Vegas. Great update. Thanks.

    3. omg u r killing me here. However, its motivational now I gotta go write a chapter of SHE per Momadukes request to make up for this tragedy. The ‘Josh’ bit is like unbelievable. WTF is up with T’s head? At any moment I thought u’d call it to a halt but NO u went the whole 9 dirty yards!!! or at least Tina & Joah did. That would so break Bette’s heart if she found out, especially that T did all that on ‘their sofa’. Unbelievable!!!! On the other, great that big sista Kit is ensuring Babygirl is having a party in Vegas. PPS

    4. Yes, it was painful for B & T lovers to read, but this is Tina’s journey. Her confusion will lead to many mistakes so that she can come to the conclusion (whatever it is) as to who she really is and what she really wants. Me thinks that Bette will make her fair share of “discoveries” too. She has always known that she wanted Tina, but I don’t think she realizes yet the magnitude of what she has just given up. She will, I’m sure and that will be her journey. Lwsho, once again masterfully written!

    5. Gosh, what is T thinking? She is so screwed up at the moment and apparently the talk with Helena did not sink in at all. Josh had a good time but will he continue to respect her, I bet not. He will treat her just like any other tart he has had. This chapter, at least the part with Tina was so awful to read. How could she do this at home, seemingly without a care in the world. I am truly disappointed in her and just hope it does not get worse before it gets better but, somehow I believe it will. And that will be so painful for everyone, including us. Great writing. Thanks for posting.

    6. Well, to answer Tina’s last question, yeah it’s over… for now. She’s been given her freedom by Bette to live her life however she sees fit, and she’s moving on. Bette, she’s got her own life to live, her own moving on to do, and I hope she can do that that without regrets. At this point, they totally do not need to be together. Whether or not their separate lives can intersect in the future, remains to be seen. Thanks for the post.

    7. It was so sad to read that Tina had done that in her and Bette’s house. Was so heartbreaking…sad! sad! It must have been torture to write. Thank you for this and you’re not making a mess of anything :)

    8. Well okay, I guess that was to be expected and I suppose when Bette comes to collect those last boxes, she will find whatever evidence they left. It´s painful to read, but they each need to experience “a new way of life”. Somehow I think Tinas will be a more difficult path than Bettes. Bette is back to her strong self. She knows what she wants, she has an amazing job waiting for her and no doubt she´ll be a hit with the eastcoast women. Tina on the other hand has a lot of anger issues, a child to support, the constant underlying fear that comes with being a single parent, memories of Bette and probably doubts, maybe even guilt everytime she takes a new guy to bed. But it´s gonna take time before she realizes what the consequences of her actions were. Great post. Thanks.
