    Family time abounds.

    Tina: Go to sleep Bette. She’ll be here in the morning. In fact she’s an early riser, so get your rest while you can.

    Bette: Yea, I know she’s really here, just still can’t believe it. She is so beautiful, so wonderful, you’ve done a great job with her Tina.

    Tina: We have done a great job. You’ve been a big part of her life too and you’ll get to be an even bigger part now.

    Bette: Thanks again for bringing her, I can’t express how much this means to me.

    Tina: I have an idea and no thanks are needed. I am just so lucky that you allowed us to walk back into your life, you could have just told me to pound sand.

    Bette: I could never do that to Boo, never. Even though my father and I didn’t always agree we never shut each other out, never.

    Tina: Well, I wasn’t so lucky with my parents.

    Bette: That’s them Tina, you don’t have to be that kind of parent; you won’t be.

    Tina: No, we’ll do this together and I’ll be better for it.

    Bette: What are your plans for tomorrow? When do you fly back?

    Tina: Well, actually I’m on vacation. I have a ticket back for Tuesday, but since it was last minute and one way it’s fully changeable. I know you have a full schedule at the museum. I didn’t really plan on seeing you today, I really was there to see the exhibit.

    Bette: Well, things have a way of working themselves out, fate made this day possible. I do need to work this week, but can probably cut a few days short. Do you mind staying a few more days? You can stay in the guest room, though it’s kind of minimalist there and I’ll get a Pack ‘n Play for Boo.

    Tina: Sure, I’ll just need to get our things from Helena’s; I’ll call her in the morning.

    Bette: Great, now I don’t have to be so anxious about Boo leaving tomorrow. A few more days would be wonderful.

    Bette leans over and kisses the baby then closes her eyes for a night of contented sleep. Tina watches both her loves sleep and continues to marvel at her luck to have found Bette today and to have things turning out this way.

    2. Lwsho…this was an outstanding chapter. Bette and Tina are taking baby steps back to each other…first civility toward one another…then I’m sure they will have some knock down, drag out words between them, then forgiveness and healing. Lwsho…I sure hope that you will put Humpty and Dumpty back together again!

    6. Amazing Chapter!!! Tina is showing some patience and I am glad about that. When they do talk I hope they still can be civil to each other and not scream and yell. Thank you I love this story. PPS

    7. OHHHHHHHH this is absolutly fantatic.They are actually talking instead of yelling, listening instead of fighting,working as a team instead of aginst each other. yes I am dncin lol but it wil be betterif they are bak together or working towards this goal lol. love this PPVS

    11. They’re doing pretty well. I’m impressed with them, actually… no sniping, just support. Even broaching the subject of talking about the demise of their relationship went well. Bette’s trying really hard, so’s Tina, but is it all just for Angelica’s sake? We’ll see how their eventual talk goes. Thanks for posting.
