Bette and Tina make their way to the bursar’s office…They arrive and walk up to the next available window…being that there were two spots open they could both go at the same time…They both looked over at one another and smiled going over to the booths…Bette was done first and waited for Tina…she sat down on the bench….

Minutes later…the blood turned away tucking her receipt in her pocket…she walked over to Bette and the brunette stood placing both of her feet to the ground…she said…

Bette: “all set?”

Tina smiles and says…

Tina: “yeah?…hey I’m starving…would mind joining me for breakfast?”

Bette: “sure…you know what as I matter of fact I can’t…I promised my roommate I’d baby sit her iguana”

The blond’s eyes light up…she smiles with excitement in her eyes…

Tina: “your roommate has an iguana?”

Bette: “yeah”

Tina: “in your apartment?”

Bette: “yeah”

Tina: “oh my god you have to show me…”

Bette frowns a bit…

Bette: “Tina…what’s there to see…it’s green…with rough skin…and a long tail…with an abnormal tongue…she’s constantly licking something…it’s crazy”

Tina laughs…she says…

Tina: “I’m sure…but I still wanna see it”

Bette looks at her…

Bette: “your serious?”

Tina: “yup”

Bette looks into her eyes and sees that there’s no way she was convincing her not too…she shook her head and waved her hand saying…

Bette: “okay…come on…”

Tina smiles and walks along the side of her…she gazes over and says…

Tina: “so…tell me a little about yourself…if you don’t mind?”

Bette: “no I don’t mind…well…I have a father back home…he’s my inspiration I would say…I don’t know what I would do without him…and my mother she passed away when I was 5…”

Tina: “I’m sorry to hear that”

Bette: “hmmm…and I have a half sister Kit…she older than me by 7 years”

Tina: “wow…it must be cool having a older sister”

Bette: “not really…because I never see her”

They approach their residence and enter the building…Bette walks over to her door and unlocks it…she heads inside and Tina follows after her…Bette leads her into her bedroom and hangs her coat in the closet…she took Tina’s and hung it up too…Bette turned to Tina and said…

Bette: “I’ll be right back”

Tina: “okay”

Bette went over to her roommates door and knocked on it…she said…

Karen: “come in”

Bette opens her door and smoke escapes from it…she goes over to her radio and turns it down…she says…

Bette: “if you keep this up your gonna kill your lizard”

Karen looks over at the tank…and then up at Bette..she says

Karen: “yeah your right…(she ashes the square…and looks up at Bette)…what’s up?”

Bette: “oh do you still want me to watch your pet?”

Karen: “yeah…as a matter of fact I’m leavng out now”

Bette watches as her roommate carefully lifts the tank and brings it into her room…Bette follows her out and into her bedroom…her roommate placed the tank in the middle of the floor…Bette said…

Bette: “no…that’s too close to me bed…could you put it in the corner please?”

Her roommate shook her head and said…

Karen: “Bette…she’s not going to attack you” she places the tank in the corner on the floor…she bends down and strokes it…she says… “she’s very loving and warm…”

Bette and Tina look on from the other side of the room…Karen stood and turned to the brunette she said…

Karen: “I’ll be back in an hour”

Bette: “okay…”

Karen exits the room and out the front door…Bette turns to Tina and says…

Bette: “you wanna play uno?”

Tina: “sure”
