Once there, Bette finds a parking space and then takes Andrea out of the car and grabs the diaper bag and they walk into the yard of the center. It’s people everywhere, Bette spots one of Tina’s colleagues, Tom.
“Hey, Tom, have you seen Tina?” Bette asks.
“I think I saw her inside. Noah and Danny are over there playing soccer.” Tom says and points over to the playfield. Bette looks over. She smiles as she sees Danny score a goal. He’s running around with his hands above his head.
“Thanks Tom.” Bette says. She walks inside. “What do you say we change your diaper first sweetie.” Bette says and kiss Andrea’s forehead. She giggles in response.
They walk into a bathroom in the back to change the diaper. She doesn’t notice Tina, but Tina notices her and smiles.
Inside the bathroom she takes of Andrea’s clothes and diaper.
“You’re in a good mood huh? Glad to get a clean and dry diaper.” Bette says as she smiles down at a smiling Andrea. Then there’s a knock on the door. And Bette hears her name.
“Bette? You in there?” Tina asks through the door.
“T?” Bette says and makes sure Andrea lays still then quickly unlocks the door. She smiles as she sees Tina there. “Hey baby.” Bette says and pulls Tina inside.
“Hey, I saw you come in. Thought I’d say hi.” Tina says and leans in for a kiss.
“Hi.” Bette replies. She turns towards Andrea who is giggling and tasting her feet. They take the few steps to the changing table. Tina leans down and kiss Andrea’s forehead.
“Hey, Angel.” She says softly. “So, how was everyone at the club?” Tina asks.
“They ‘re good. Talked to Lara, who has everything under control, and then I spent some time with Dana. She misses us. I promised that I would visit her more often. And I invited her for a BBQ next weekend.” Bette says.
“That’ll be fun. We should have a family gathering more often. Like we had before.” Tina suggests.
“I’d love that. I know I’ve been out of it for a while but I still feel bad that I haven’t been there for Dana. She’s my best friend, and after all she came first. That has to count for something.” Bette says.
