    Going to dinner, Tina meets an Ex…What is Bette doing?

    “Hi, we have reservations, Bette Porter.” Bette says.

    “Yes, this way.” The waitress says.

    Tina recognizes that voice. She squeezes Bette’s hand so Bette turns around.

    “Babe, that waitress is one of my ex-girlfriends” Tina whispers in Bette’s ear. She looks at Bette for her reaction.

    “Oh, do you want to go somewhere else?” Bette asks.

    “No, no, I just thought I’d give you a heads up, incase some things are mentioned.” Tina replies and smiles.

    “Thank you.” Bette says and smiles back.

    They follow the waitress. She turns around and look at Bette and Tina. Her eyes widen by the look of Tina.

    “Hi, Leslie.” Tina says and smiles.

    “TTina Hi.” Leslie replies surprised.

    “How have you been?” Tina asks as she takes a seat, Bette sit down on the opposite side.

    “I’ve been good, you?” Leslie asks.

    “I’ve been great, first time back in 6 years.” Tina says.

    “Yeah, I heard what happened, I’m sorry.” Leslie replies and gets a sad look on her face.

    “No, it’s okay. I have Sarah and Chris back, so I’m good.” Tina says and smiles. “Leslie I want you to meet my better half, Bette Porter.” Tina says and smiles over at Bette.

    “Hi, Bette, nice to meet you.” Leslie says and reach out her hand.

    “Hi, Leslie, nice to meet you too.” Bette replies and shakes her hand.

    “WellWhat can I get you two to drink?” Leslie says and takes out her little notepad.

    “I’ll have a bottle of Pellegrino.” Bette says and looks over at Tina.

    “If you don’t mind, I would like a glass of wine.” Tina says and looks back at Bette.

    “No not at all, go ahead.” Bette replies and smiles.

    “I’ll have hmm Just pick out a good one.” Tina says and smiles at Leslie.

    “Sure thing, I’ll be right back.” Leslie says and walks away.

    “She seems nice.” Bette says after a few moments.

    “She is, we hooked up after I split with Lara. We were together only 4 months, then we realized that it wasn’t going anywhere, so we decided to break it up. After that we became good friends.” Tina says with a smile on her face. “And then not long after I came out to my family and you know the rest. I lost touch with everyone here.” Tina says as her eyes are watering up a little. Bette reaches across the table and takes Tina’s hands in hers. She softly rubs them.

    6. Awww… I also thought Bette will kneel in front of her sweethart in the next chapter, I couldn’t deny it – even if I always try to avoid any pressure on authors ! (lol)
      God, I must confess it would be devastatingly melting…

      That’s great to see so much honesty here, with Tina immediately telling about her ex. That’s how one can deserve a total trust from the loved one. And your Bette is sooo wise !

      I’m pretty impatient now, Lauren… Please don’t eat, don’t watch tv, don’t do anything and come back to your computer to post the next chapter !!

    13. Oh, no you didn’t. You are so bad for leaving us hangong like that. It seems like they need a little bit more passion in thier relationship.
      I ment to comment after the last chapter that I was surprised that Tina did not offer to give Bette a rub down after she said that her legs were hurting. Please post again soon.
